Yea man it’s the only program I’ve truly enjoyed. I love being in the gym everyday

Why maintenance?

3x5+ I think high bar or somewhere in between. Hips below the crease.

It’s a 6 day program. I’ve been enjoying it since I like going to the gym. It’s the one from the fitness sub that says it for beginners since it has compound lifts and linear progression

Interesting about the carbs tip. Thanks

My bench sucks but my squats pretty good. Can squat 230 with good form for my working sets. Bench is slowly getting better.

Is that while bulking? Usually my carbs around 35% and my protein is at least 1lb per body weight.

No I track everything. I was eating 2000 cals a day with 1 gram of protein per body weight. After all the replies, I’m bumping it to 2500 cals and will adjust from there.

I do PPLPPLR. So I lift 6x week hitting each body part 2x a week.

Would the PPL be okay? Has similar progression to the 5x5 plus more accessory work. I personal find the programs like SS and stronglifts really boring, and I like being in the gym more often.

Thanks for the tip on tongkat Ali. Seems kinda legit.

My bench is the weakest since I’m recovering from a shoulder injury. I had to lower the weight and focus on form since then. Honestly the rest I’m hoping are low since I was cutting. I’m hoping when I bulk my numbers will go up.

Do you have any plan you recommend? Is the PPL (the one on the fitness sub) I’m doing good?

Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but I thought for the recomp you need to be slightly below maintenance and hit protein synthesis, that way your body pulls from fat stores to build muscle. I watched a couple YouTube videos on it though not an expert.

Actually I was trying to do a recomp. I was eating slightly below maintenance and getting a lot of protein.

When I started lifting I was 160 and really insecure about the fat around my stomach. I wanted to lose fat before bulking. Also want to be lean for summer.

Sorry can you point me in the right direction?ive went through a bunch of stuff on his site but can’t find concrete details on the routine. I get the 3 main exercises he recommends, but is there an outline of what to do somewhere?

Since I started a few months ago. I've been eating the same meals consistently. It ended up being around my maintenance calories and ~180-200 grams of protein.

Fix my nutrition how? I already eat clean and cook all my meals.

TuT for compounds as well? I thought that those were mostly explosive and TuT was for accessory lifts. Also I’m doing a 6 day PPL that is kind of what you describe

What’s a good routine for Hypertrophy?

I’m not trying to avoid lifting. I’m just trying to figure out what diet strategy will help fix my physique the fastest.

I thought you meant like a literal way like a recomp or something.

How do you turn fat into muscle?
/r/askTRP20/01/21 11:59 PM

Oh cool did you have success with it? I kind of find it hard to believe a body weight program will get someone out of skinny fat. Also does he recommend to bulk or cut?
/r/askTRP20/01/21 07:02 PM

Absolutely. Not lifting wasn’t even an option.

Thanks for the words brother. I’m hesitant to bulk cause I don’t want more fat on my body.

Looks interesting, but it’s a paid program?

Like I said, I look way higher in those photos than I do when looking at myself in the mirror. could just be lighting though. And I saw good gains for a while but they've slowed a bit. My big lifts are still slowly going up, but my accessory lifts have stalled for a while.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
