Most people look at their phone now anyway. I've been weirded out by both men and women staring at me, but they have yet to make that ad for me.

That is what everyone keeps saying over and over, except the critics, if that is the case maybe they should no longer be the reviewers as they don't reflect anyone's viewpoint except a tiny minority of the population. But good luck getting rid of them as the outcry would be on the verge an unbearable tantrum.

But that is the problem they are like the annoying neighbours dog who has been left outside alone and just barks constantly all day everyday.

There is saying going around "The right may not be perfect but the left is insane". I think what your saying is the voice of tens/hundreds of millions.

No its a world wide phenomenon, with Portland being Mecca.

It is a great idea, but like a lot ideas that doesn't mean it will work or is even possible to implement.

The costs for Doctor visits, medical tests, medicines, specialists, hospital, etc are huge in the U.S. In other countries they negotiate with the pharma and equipment makers for a fair price and have set pricing on tests, while in the U.S. such negotiation/regulation is far less

You are better of consulting Dr Google than me on the statistical rates. I can only speak from experience from my travels that many of the problems that you mentioned exist in systems with free health care. Rolling out a free for all health care for 327 million would be a major challenge especially with the hold the medical industry has over costing and government.

Of course it is better to have access to proper medical treatment, but as I said the countries that have it still have the problems you mentioned. Lifestyle, friends, diet, some sort of spiritual connection, exercise and ongoing education and challenges from my experience are the biggest way to improve ones health/life. The biggest problem in the U.S. in regards to medical care is the insane cost of it and how much power the big phama groups have gained through their intensive government loby ne…

Not saying that it wouldn't help but in the countries that have it, it hasn't been a magical panacea. Nordic countries, England, New Zealand, Australia, etc all still have these problems with universal healthcare.

They are the seemingly sane players, but in an insane polarised world I don't think they will be seen. Bernie is now seen as a moderate which is bizarre, but that just goes to show how far the fringe left has gone but then maybe that was the young turks and above plan, to make Bernie seem more palatable to the general public.

His Joe Rogan talk was good, but he is probably too moderate for most, especially in this ultra polarised age.

Yes, it is like a far leftist cancer which has been released and slowly seeping its way through moderate democrat's. Hopefully they get a bit of Chemo or we all might be rooted.

I'm sure in the end it is a numbers game, especially nowadays, but I do believe there are some good people with integrity left. It is a fairly rigged game though, but it could be much worse, we could be living in Hong Kong, Tibet, etc.

I think most of these ideas come from the far left it is just the average democrat politician has done a deal with the devil to get these new hip Instagram friendly socialist kids on boards for votes. But the devil eventually wants to be paid and so it is currently dragging them down like a boat anchor with their crazy ideas.

I actually think rights for women is a good thing but modern feminism has gone septic with the widely accepted Hannah Gadsby cry "I hate men" and #metoo revenge lynch mobs being tolerated as the norm which is not that far from a certain group of Germans hating others in the 1930's.

DT is pretty clever he has pushed the AOC types to the front of the democratic party which has made them all look like Socialist crazies. You have to always look at the big picture tough as the function of the Young Turks (where AOC and the other far left came from)is to disrupt and destroy the democratic party and replace it with their own players. I'd keep my eye on Saikat Chakrabarti and see what he gets up to next.

I'd say so, but it is deeper than that, the world/west has gone into some weird hypernormalization and no one knows what to believe in any more.

And she has a social media following bigger than many countries, so what she says effects millions. I have to give her points though for pushing the big DT to release those long term jailed prisoners, arrested mainly for having large amounts of pot in the 70's-80's. You are right though even some savvy ladies are starting to see it. https://medium.com/s/powertrip/metoo-will-not-survive-unless-we-recognize-toxic-femininity-6e82704ee616
