Worthy was probably the wrong word for me to use. TRP isn’t about becoming worthy of women it’s the opposite. Should have said valuable.

She doesn’t need to feel like it “just happened.” Girls aren’t dumb. She’s done this before. She just needs that to be the story, so that A) she can tell her friends that she met this hot seductive guy instead of that she acted like a slut, and B) so that she knows you’re not a total idiot, and you’ve done this before.

You're focusing on getting laid instead of becoming worthy of getting laid. Nothing dark triad about setting up elaborate lies. Work on yourself so you don't have to lie.

Problem with this is it divides guys into assholes and nice guys. But those aren't two different species of men; they're descriptions of two different ways of being treated. What the girl means is guys who put her on a pedestal and indulge her bullshit, and guys who don't. Even a white knight "nice guy" will be a dominant "asshole" to an ugly chick (unless he's trying to show off how nice he is).

Aaaaaand that's why I took this idea to Red Pill. Fully endorse this response. Thank you.

Frequenting red pill sites does not make a man an alpha male. Like any information, it can be misinterpreted, or selectively read, to remove cognitive dissonance about toxic ideas or justify otherwise unacceptable instincts. Misogyny, xenophobia, and racism, are not alpha male behaviors. They are weak reactions to perceived threats. People accuse others of the offenses they are most guilty of. If he's accusing you of plotting a divorce rape, he's thinking of divorcing you, and putting some serio…

Iron John: A Book about Men, by Robert Bly. Bly wrote this in 1990, well before most people, much less respected intellectuals, had the balls to discuss the threat to masculinity in American culture. Instead of being based on evolutionary psych like most of these, he uses a deep reading of old myths about male rites of passage to explore male values society has forgotten/repressed. No More Mr. Nice Guy was also a life changer. Can't recommend it highly enough.

"When a novice peels potatoes, he thinks about Zen. When the Zen master peels potatoes, he just peels the potatoes." I'm misquoting horrendously, but that's the gist of it. Glad to see the increased attention to mindfulness on TRP lately. Thanks for making the effort to do this.

Definitely agree that money is a necessity, didn't mean to imply otherwise. In terms of pulling girls though, you (usually) have to display that money indirectly, through things like drugs, exclusive venues, buying things in front of her, that kind of thing. Obviously your wardrobe too. Short term, she's more interested in the story your money made possible. Long term, she can start thinking about your bank accounts. You're totally right, she's never going to LTR someone with a lower net worth. …

Tolle's dope. Gets a little goofy when he starts talking about "pain bodies" and stuff, but definitely a great starting point for meditation without all the mystical nonsense attached. Love his quote "Rather than being your thoughts and emotions, be the awareness behind them."

I started with that too, as an audio book. The audio book was nice because you can listen to it on your commute and also not be seen carrying around a self-help book. Plus you get the added bonus of Tolle's hypnotic voice massaging your eardrums

Well clarified. South America could probably work too if it's not a country that immigrates to the US a lot. Argentinian maybe. In the end, exotic is going to be a relative term. If you're in bumblefuck Arkansas -- and I hope for your sake that you're not -- then Chicago Illinois can be exotic. ("Ooh she hooked up with that boy from the city ."). That's off topic with the race theme, but anyway, valid. And you're completely right -- if you're going to say you're from a 3rd world country, you bet…

Yeah that's a good point. There's definitely real-world exceptions to psychology-experiment-based theories. I've changed my mind about other men, other men have changed their minds about me, and we've become friends later on. That said, I can't say I've ever seen a woman change her mind about whether a man, me included, is fuckable. That's the whole friendzone trap. You think she'll want to fuck you after she gets to know you. She never never never will. Brains aren't predisposed to entirely ove…

Am white, can confirm. Related to lesson 2 about social status -- they are going to get brunch with their circle of frenemies the next day and tell stories about the night before, all trying to one up each other. She doesn't care about you at all. She cares about the story about you she's going to tell her friends to raise her status in the group. The story is better if you a) are hot, b) do drugs, c) take her exclusive places, d) are exotic, e) show no hesitation in bed. EDIT: Forgot f) have a …

Most of the science says it's pretty impossible to overturn first impressions unfortunately. If someone sees you when you're tired and frustrated, they're going to think that's how you are. If you're on top of your game next time, they're going to think "oh he's in a good mood today," not "oh i guess he's a high energy person after all." First impressions have been shown to be calculated in tenths of a second too. A 5 second first impression counts more than a 5 minute second impression.

This is just an easy PR win for a populist mayor. Nothing to worry about. The less the common person appreciates and pursues physical fitness, the rarer and more valuable physical fitness becomes.

trying to guess is a waste of your mental energy and won't help you move on even if you do figure it out. only way to get it (or anything) off your mind is to get busy with the next thing. girls flake, nbd
