Their female classmates weren’t required to make a similar pledge. The only thing I'd argue there is that feminism doesn't push against white people so much as the overarching progressive left does. Black Lives Matter, Feminism, SJW, LGBT, etc. are entirely different movements found within the progressive left and have entirely different goals. 2	Feminism Discussion in IR Course... Ok...the class is not finished yet. We will be learning its application in the next class. There is nothing wrong with covering the point behind core concepts first. It increases the ability for the mind to fully understand what is happening when new terms are introduced prior to application; instead of during or after. I can find you sources that support this claim, if you so desire. I was giving an example from ONE discussion from ONE class. 3	Feminism Discussion in IR Course... Just to reply to your first comment on lack of connection. The discussion was prompted by asking about our opinion on the concept of feminism in Int'l Rel, not how it is used. I agree that the argument was circular, and I think that was partially the reason for moving passed class discussion. Also, I love your colorful use of words haha Edit: The class is a 101 so we are just focusing on concepts themselves. 1	Feminism Discussion in IR Course... I agree, there are hostilities. In fact, in my response to her comment I was going to admit that. My argument was just that interest in those fields is an element that was not being observed in the class. That ability was not the only factor to be considered. 5	Game of Thrones, rape and feminism It isn't so much the show as it is hbo. Hbo has nudity put into the show agreement. While it doesn't specify gender, female is implied. The show Louis isn't in hbo anymore because they told Louis CK that more nudity was needed, and he didn't tell the female lead she'd have to be naked. So instead of making her, he got naked. Despite the show's success, it was cancelled. Game of thrones could have more male nudity, maybe the whole cast and crew are fine with it, but hbo pulls the strings.	/r/MensRights	22/05/14 10:35 PM
