I’m not falling for that. I’m not pasting Dworkin here. I learned my lesson. And obviously she’s a misandrist. This isn’t an exception to her misandry.

Idunno. Dworkin did. All I got was from stealing my ex’s women’s studies syllabus 20 years ago. (It’s me. I’m people.)

This is how it's described in the feminist theory I've read. Most people might mean something else, but most people are girlboss libs and don't read.

Did anything I said disagree with that? I don't think I belong here.

On average. Women are weaker on average. If it was about strength it would be about strength.

Yeah. I’d agree that’s misguided. It’s also not what I’m trying to say, or what I got from my limited reading of Dworkin, which definitely did not fall victim to the apex fallacy. you’d find it far more common that people view its primary purpose is about control over women... or rather, men controlling women. It’s about giving men a leg up in society at the expense of women. Yeah and I’ll agree they’re wrong. It’s about rich, old, otherwise privileged men keeping power over poor, young or other…

What the fuck are we fighting about here? I understand that I used the word misogyny in my comment. If you were actually trying to communicate with me, you might read that sentence and see that it doesn't say misogyny relates to these examples. It says: In my opinion, these examples relate to a different phenomena. That other phenomena involves either misogyny or patriarchy hurting men. In these examples, it's patriarchy. The way I see it. Whose primary purpose is controlling men. But really... …

And I don’t even mean to say you’re wrong - maybe patriarchy theory is heavily flawed, but I don’t think I made the mistake you’re describing.

Well I’m not saying misogyny at all, am I? I’m saying the primary purpose of the patriarchy is to control other men.

I think these are both examples of a different phenomena where misogyny or patriarchy just has a direct negative impact on men, and there are tons. Like, “so it's really women who are being discriminated against” is a mischaracterization of the argument. Women are discriminated against … and considered valuable property … and men fight and die for that property. The patriarchy is awful for men. Poor men and young men are the primary target of its control, even if the inequity is more obvious for…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
