When I catch eye contact I'll just approach her and initiate small talk with intention of getting instagram. I feel like this is the most safe way to do it

It may sound weird, but the goal is to gain the courage to approach a girl in a public place. I'm not a virgin, actually I've hooked up with few girls, but only through dating apps. We texted each other for about two weeks before we met, and yes, I had to meet her in real life to hook up with her, but it didn't scare me as much as walking up to a random girl in a public place and striking up a conversation
