I see your point if you're on a purely strength based routine, ive done that in the past and it's necessary to give your joints a rest. I was merely suggesting that people throw around 'overtraining' alot and your body is capable of alot more than you think.

I don't think this is true unless you're doing some ridiculous olympic level training for 6 hours a day. I work a physical job and lift 6-7 days a week with high intensity. If you can get motivated to do it and eat enough, I think it produces results way faster than a 3x a week program.

Don't let genetics get in the way. I had the ultimate shitty skinny genetics. When I was 18/19 I was 6'2" 145lbs. Consistent eating and training have brought me up to a solid 215lbs. If physical stature is your only qualm then trust me, give it a year or two of being consistent and it will no longer be an issue.

This happened to my most recent ex, although she was the one who initiated the breakup. Blindsided me one day saying she needed space to find herself. I oblige for one week. Meet up 7 days later, still hadn't found herself, stating she needed more time. So I did her dirty work for her and ended it. Later find out from mutual friends that she was a habitual branch swinger, always out for greener grass and had infact cheated on her last two boyfriends. Apparently no physical cheating had occured w…

This is definitely the truth. My ex left me about 5 weeks ago to "find herself". I knew beforehand that she had ended long term relationships in the past on a whim and was hesitant at the start but she was a solid 9 so I continued. I learned after that she had cheated on her 2 previous exes and ended up getting back together with them afterwards. A mutual friend recently assured me that she had indeed slept with a new guy, most definitely had him in mind before breaking it off with me. I guess h…

Fellow Vancouverite here. Split with live in gf of 2 years a few weeks ago. We intended to go to thailand together. Much to her dismay I went ahead and booked a ticket for myself instead of sitting in her back pocket while she checked for greener pastures. I hear that's a great place for adventures AND hooking up if you were so inclined.

Thanks for the input. Yeah its a tough one. I knew getting in that she might be a handful but having her own family tell me she's wishy washy and does completely random shit like up and move to another city only to randomly come back a year later only to do it again another year later I know I definitely dodged a bullet. I can't envision being friends with her and i can only imagine the kind of stuff she'll say about me to them as I continue to ignore so unfortunately Ill have to back away altog…

I was hoping to avoid this, these are generally good people. Her family even told me to cover myself and watch out so they are important relationships to me. I suppose it was inevitable though. Thanks for the insight.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
