Basically impossible in modern day hospitals in the US. While the infant is in the delivery room, they give the infant bands that have bar code that ties to mom / dad. They scan both before leaving.

Well, European history is American history. The US was a European colony. It’s founders were well versed in Roman and Greek political theory. To really understand American history, you need to understand European history.

Just to be clear, some country’s in Africa would have very different histories. For example Egyptian history would be very Mediterranean based whereas South Africa would be pretty white based. Ethiopia would have its own rich tradition. It would be odd to demand that Ethiopia teach equally about say Brazilian history.

And if you were in Africa, you’d probably learn more about your country’s history. I have zero problem with learning about your country’s history first before global history.

You say “force another human being to carry your child against their will.” Another person can say “you don’t have the right to murder my child.” It is a difficult issue.

1984 reference. Basically you might have these quant issues that led to Issue X but Issue X is thoughtcrime so you’ve trained your mind to use BS qual arguments. That trained mind is called crimestop.

No one actually believes that (I’m sure they comment how they noticed trait X appearing in family members etc etc). But once they discuss abstraction, they go full blank state.

Red herring. The vast majority of abortion is elective. I think the vast majority of pro lifers would be happy to make exceptions for true health of the mother (eg ectopic pregnancy).

Of course there is. But the gap is even larger inter gender.

There was a time in tennis where the woman’s draw was a bit more interesting. So it got rye balls (didn’t hurt that some of the worn were…nice on the eyes). And that’s great! Market decides. Just like in the era of the big 3 the market decided men’s tennis was more interesting (which is also great). But there shouldn’t be subsidization. To be clear, it is one thing if a male league owns a woman’s league and it is willing to take some losses to try to start up a successful venture. It is a differ…

Middle classes don’t really pay that much. Upper middle class pays a very large share. And the issue isn’t really the interpretation on the merits (pretty much everyone agrees this is a dog). The legal dispute is on standing. And finally campaign for what you want — that can be effective.

No. No it won’t because it is illegal and already paused by federal courts. So no debt wiped out. If you want the debt wiped out, pass a bill next time.

It is interesting though. If feminism was merely gender equality, wouldn’t you just say an advocate for feminism? It seems almost an admission against interest.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
