Agree. Absolutely agree. I have huge respect for the guy who posted about learning to bake sourdough bread and then not really wanting a girlfriend because he now had a hobby. Sounds harsh, but...Shows he has his own life.

Men are unafraid to make stupid jokes and be offensive, I like that

I like the elegance of the word penetration, but I also wish valprehend wasn't so rare as to be basically a nonexistent word. If men can get a glossy, powerful, semi militaristic sounding word we can have one too haha

In my case although he was visibly muscular he wasn't that big, he was very optimized for speed and balance but not really strength. I could fairly easily pick up and throw him. I regularly did. So it would have been hard to think of sex as me being vulnerable or dominated even if I'd wanted to.

Like clockwork when I start watching fart-femdom videos it's because I'm bored witless and avoiding a mountain of tasks. The second I do a deep clean and some work on writing a novel, I'm back to being really vanilla. I think …

No, because I was really naive even for a late teen/early 20s and it just didn't occur to me to frame it in those terms. I did tend to be the one going on top and doing the violent mechanics myself, yes. It's a bit hard to feel submissive or vulnerable when you're the one who just broke someone's bed.

Woman here: I never saw it that way because I was quite naive and just didn't know the symbolism existed until way later in life. I thought sex was basically eating food. I don't submit to food when I put it in my mouth. I had no idea I was supposed to feel vulnerable or dominated.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
