There are other benefits to being on it other than just no pregnancy. It can make your skin clearer (acne) as well as it regulates their monthly cycle. So I would lean towards she is on the pill. However the "I don't do this often" I would look at how many dates you have gone on, how that date went, and how much pressure from her to fool around was in the air.
