Social psychology shows that people pick partners based on their own perceived “rating”, and given that the gender ratio is pretty equal, I think it’s more likely a 1=1 thing. Meaning there’s someone out there for everyone. People who are mad online likely are trying to pick partners out of their league and need to be more realistic about their own looks. That being said.
