2	Why is there a stereotype about women having higher ''emotional intelligence''? That was a good read and you certainly know more about the subject than me, but there are some points I just cannot seem to agree with. I want to bring up the subject of psychopaths as an example. They have no empathy, yet its well known they are master manipulaters. In way proves that empathy is not needed for manipulation or understanding the emotions of others. 2	Why is there a stereotype about women having higher ''emotional intelligence''? Yes I am a very empathetic person, I just do not let my emotions overrule me. And I do think I understand emotions well, but not for all people, especially women. I usually try to put myself in the shoes of others before passing judgement. For example I do not understand the emotions of children at all. Why do they cry about things that shouldnt matter? Makes no sense and I find myself in similar situation with many women. I think we mistake a lot of ''bottling up'' with people that are able to deal internally. Once again im gonna mention personal experience. Whenever something bad happened to me, my partner always wanted to talk about it, similarly, whenever something happened to her, she wanted me to ask and talk it out. 4	I went into the library today Most publishers are publicly traded companies beholden to ESG, thus they force ''diversity'' onto readers. Many of my favourite authors had to self-publish, because publishers tried to censure their books to their liking. Many authors also were forced to go ''woke'' to get theirs books published, basically rewrite their stories to fit the ''narrative'' or add lgbtq/independent strong women characters.
