Yeah, I think academics is pretty settled on most of it - hell, postpartum depression effects aren't new anymore! We got ways to mitigate those because it's such a crucial window of opportunity. No doubt mothers continue to have a specific effect (separate from daddy's) on psychological development. Society always lags behind though, and they're still stuck on figuring out how asymmetrical but equal for outcome could make any kind of sense.

I mean, I was just making a snarky reply, but no, we're not ready at all. When we manage to get the incel crowd to stop making bait posts for normal, functional humans that don't require defensive posturing like the OP image and you just posted, I.e. when we can finally laugh about this stuff, then we can have the conversation. Before that, it's just divisive.
