As an engineering and Hopkins kid (at hopkins now, undergrad in engineering) 1) yes homework is a safety net 2) yeah there are the kids that steal notes and cheat, they aren't the top of our class though. They're in the lower middle.

I've always been told "sarcasm is meant to be bitter" The word is defined as: "sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter gibe or taunt."

That's exactly what I mean. I mean it makes sense in the short run but in the long run it affects him as much as her if not more(jail, child support)

I don't even understand the "it's your body" argument, yes it affects your body but temporarily. It affects both your lives permanently even if you don't stay together he's still affected (child support, be part of Childs life etc)

Oh ok that makes sense. I thought you meant lesbians in general.

Idk how true that is either, I have a close lesbian friend that finds the same women that I find attractive. She keeps herself in shape and makes sure she looks good. She def RP..actually she's more RP than most people I know so pretty interesting. I think the ugly obese lesbians are more common so we don't rly see the other ones. Ps. She's an 7.5-8/10.

Or just do 50% of your money that way if you lose you can accept it as a divorce without the lawyers and courts and if you win you're now richer. It's (pretty much) a win win

My old manager used to say he doesn't go on dates with girls from bars and clubs bc he can spend the same amount on a hooker and skip all the bullshit

Isn't that pretty much still true?

It is but I actually wanted to see TRP side of things for this.

I was quite skeptical when I saw this which is why I posted here to see what others would think. It all sounded like "we can do this better than you because we're girls" I am all for equal opportunity. The qualified should be getting the jobs regardless of gender and if they are being rejected simply bc they are women then something is wrong the system; however, if they're being rejected bc they aren't qualified then that aren't qualified. Also Quotas are bullshit Edit: thx for your input

The reform needs to happen regardless. I know think of the children but you'd have to be an idiot to think all that money is going to the child.

Okay this explanation makes the most sense. I was wondering how could possibly come with that woman would do a better job period. Edit: if you don't mind I actually wanna use what you said.

I know about NPR, I'm more curious about the actual stats.

I like to quote Sean Carter in these situations "On to the next one"

Np, just wanted my 2 cents out there. It rly is, unfortunately our society as a whole is headed in that direction. This whole thing feels like fear mongering.

Yeah the never part was sarcasm, sorry didn't clarify. I grew up in a foreign country so I had to deal with the issue on my own. The biggest advantage was that I learned to cope with it. No scaring, no trauma, I grew up to be an healthy adult both mentally and physically. Of course everyone deals with issues differently but the whole rape culture thing makes me mad. As a victim I have yet to play the victim card so how can all these other ppl that haven't even had to deal with it play it? Sorry …

Considering that i was raped as a 4-5 year old, she is completely right boys don't have to fear rape bc it never happens to them.

My great uncle teaches an entry level logics class (as well as an advanced one but that's besides the point). Some of the stories he tells us about his students leaves me bewildered. Edit: I can't english

Same here, a close friend (she's in my friend zone) does that to me every time she's drunk. Digs her nails all the way in and leaves marks for months. When she's sober she "just wants to be friends" and calls me an asshole all the time for being a smartass. I've learned to just keep away when she's drunk smh

The "I love you" part is def the hardest part. I go from a professional heavy weight boxer to an average Joe getting beaten on by a professional heavy weight boxer.

What about empathy or remorse that lasts a very short while(couple minutes at most, 10s of seconds at least)?

So my 10 cents a day to feed a starving child is actually fighting obesity? I knew those tv spots were scams...I'm so appalled

Oh I feel you, been a PC gamer from the beginning but consoles have some amazing games too so they can never be discounted. I feel like some of the people there are serious tho smh

The biggest problem with /r/pcmasterrace is that they are more focused on shooting down consoles then on anything constructive. Of course there are a few good posters but the majority are memes or making fun of consoles, which is why I just lurk over there instead of actually contributing...maybe I should start

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
