Well, look at the potus now and tell me, that's not a patriarchy. Or the UK government, a heavy male dominated government. Or the world richest people, almost only men and they use their own power to keep these male dominated structures there. It's not the many people who decide how society is, it's the few rich people and people in power who dictate the biggest part of our lifes. Does look like a patriarchal structure to me.

Humans can be saints and demons at the same time. A rapist can genuinely care for his people and do a lot for society. Someone who is working with kids, perhaps as a teacher or kindergardener, might be abusive to their own family. We have ugly as well es genuine sides to us.
