You should feel guilty. You’re childish and fickle, you sound like a woman yourself. What about your kids? Honestly you should probably leave her rather than wage mental warfare on this poor unsuspecting person any longer. “I’m a scumbag, echo chamber please tell me not to feel guilty”.

Part of my honeymoon was in a converted van camper along the pacific coast and it was awesome. It was honestly a highlight of the trip. Different strokes for different folks.

Why are you worried about going out, with a newborn at home? Your wife just had a baby, whatever problem you’re trying to solve here is probably directly related to that, and your new mysterious drives, gym and ice cream runs for the sake of being out of the house are just going to create problems. Don’t try to be someone you’re not, take care of your baby and be home with your family.

Sounds like he’s pouting about it. What more do you reasonably think you could have done? I’d just move along with life - he’ll get over it, or not. In that case you should probably move on. Everyone has felt in some way like this before, if you’re a reasonable person you get over it. If you’re a huge crybaby you lord over your wife/gf/so and guilt them about it endlessly...
