If they can say it now they can (will) say it for the rest of their lives

It will never be enough. They will continue to take what they can until someone starts to push back.
/r/MensRights24/04/15 08:22 PM

I found it never really matter what struggles you acknowledge because they never acknowledge any of your struggles. It is very rare (from what I've seen) to even see them give an inch. so it kinda leaves your entire strategy useless as they fail to participate in this process.

As a U Ottawa student I can tell you that at least everyone I know is absolutely disgusted with what has been happening. Even look at the comments, most are upset by it too. I don't think any of this represents the students at large.

Come on man, teaching is a hard job. Same for nursing, whether it is a female or male it is hard work.

The campus security has no problem removing groups of people causing disturbances. They were definitely told how to handle the situation (don't do anything) as normally they would have been removed.

Do you like eggs? or milk? then you're not a [feminist] (http://i.imgur.com/hByGytY.png) and I guess you're a misogynist. See how hard it is to hit a moving target?

that's basically what it always comes down to when I talk to feminists. "If you don't care about my rights why should I give a fuck about yours?" They really don't get that equality is a two way street.

I think it can go either way. Many friends of mine that were lesbians have been the coolest and most accepting of males.

umm... How are you suppose to go on the date in the first place? You might have misunderstood my analogy or took it literally. Point was to even have the interaction to begin with you are expected to pay (buy presents). Yeah later dates are a different story, I'm more referring to the first one.
/r/MensRights10/12/13 05:50 PM

Okay but say that person never invites you over the holidays, never gets you a present. Why would you feel so obligated to jump for the opportunity to do so? Maybe they should earn that first. exceptions don't disprove the rule as we are talking on average. I am finding more and more do like to split it but still there is the expectation for the man to pay first. It is a bit trivial but the whole point of this post was the double standards. They get upset about the most trivial things while we a…

It is my choice but you can't deny that it is a disadvantage when guys don't do it as most women expect it. I feel good buying people presents on holidays for example but when people expect it and feel entitled I can't help but feel soured by it. If it feels so good then women should be jumping at the chance to pay as well, as it does give a good impression after all.
/r/MensRights10/12/13 04:46 PM

But it is expected for the man to ask the woman out. So once again it is just expected for the man to do all the work and pay.

More that they are adapting to it. They see the gender roles that society has put in place (by women as well) and they then try to be as successful as possible given those perimeters.

I consider myself an egalitarian first however I like MRA's simply because they are the only sides trying to counter balance what feminism has become. I read most of your comments and I have seen nothing that would be considered hostile. You got downvoted because you had a silly opinion on certain topics. Welcome to Reddit. MRA's never wanted to be against feminism but feminism certainly made it the case. Have you seen the protest in Toronto? We just try to talk about the issues in real life and…

Wow that is a pretty interesting life, glad you were able to go through it without a serious injury. That is another world of living I see your point but not entirely onboard. I think a lot of the damage may also come from the thought that girls are suppose to be better academically. At least when I went to highschool girls got a bit more slack while it was almost expected that guys weren't suppose to do as well. My school was pretty odd so I wouldn't expect it to be a representation of most. I …

Maybe it's a joke I'm not getting but It seems you posted the wrong link for the women's right subreddit. I am not claiming you are part of this generation or whatever. I saw your point and agreed somewhat I was just trying to expand on the idea and wasn't referring to you necessarily. I completely agree with the rest. I am just not getting your point about the pity-party. Sure some may use it as a way to get what they want but pointing out flaws in society and explaining why it is wrong is one …

I didn't say you agreed with it, I said if you did. It seemed you were arguing for it however. I completely agree with fluxburns and your point about such. I see many women using pregnancy as a way to claim strength which is what people were upset with. Well I think men are a lot more frustrated than they were in your generation. A lot of things have put us at odds. Dating, work place, legal system, even schools have men in a disadvantaged way. I think what you said applies even MORE to women of…

"maybe the woman is bitchy because she is actually stronger. like women go through child birth what can you say bout that" That is trying to excuse someone's shitty behavior simply because they can give birth. Also the kidney stones argument was a rebuttal to this as explaining if men went through comparable pain I guess this gives them an excuse to be a shithead because they are "strong". I already explained what I meant, but you can continue to feel superior if you want on a technicality. Does…

I did mean that the whole process such a deciding to get get pregnant in the first place. But really does it matter? this has gotten so off topic...

It isn't on just them though, it really clogs up any health care system with needless complications. They use up so many resources and staff that could be put to better use. God fucking damn it!!! This pisses me off so much. So it has begun, feminism is succeeding in their attack on gaming. The crazy one sided argument that it is only sexist if it is women but if it happens to men it is it the "male power fantasy". What do you even say to such hypocrisy? I tried pointing out how ridiculous that was but got down voted into oblivion. I think we need to squash this feminism attack on gaming fast, I really don't want there to be any lasting damage due to these hypocritical and ridiculous views.

I had quite a few white knights go after me because I pointed out how Anita Sarkeesian had not a single valid point and was basically scamming people. I found there is being quite an attack by feminist on gaming now, it is really pissing me off.

"affects your rights how?" This was just one innocent example, it shows how if a feminist wanted to make a cause to weaken the rights of men she would have tons of support from feminist who don't know/care about what it is just because it is for women. For instance if men blindly support causes just because it was for men there would be more of an outrage. We are against the ideas that feminism supports. You kinda misconstrued what I wrote. I am against the idea of people supporting a cause they…

Well I think it is actually related a bit. This is in front of the Feminist area of campus and they are willing to participate in anything as long as it has an agenda for women (even if they don't know what it is). It shows what we are up against, a side that is ignorant of the causes they are even fighting for simply because it is for women.

I don't think you should worry how other people will view you. I think most people on here wouldn't think you are just trying to capitalize on it. Of course it is possible. countries already currently do this. Assuming you are from the U.S, it is one of the most overworked countries in the world. Record profits and productions, and higher working hours than any other time and yet people are just scraping by. It is the distribution of wealth that is causing those problems.

Hold on. I don't think your daughter will ever forget about you. Even if it is much later down the line I bet she will reconnect with you. It sounds like she doesn't like her mother and will naturally pull away from her when she can. I am not taking his side, just trying to explain to you that she has some responsibility as well. You are acting like it is societies fault that she has a low paying job while a banker makes more. You said she didn't want to drag him to court, well then it is her own fault! How can you bitch about this, she never even tried. Isn't that true of everyone though? Who wouldn't want shorter days, shorter weeks, more vacation time, more sick days. This is an issue that affects everyone, it shouldn't be about men vs women.

How convient that you left out your mother profession. Still had emotional power over her? how is that our problem that she couldn't stand up for herself? I don't see men being defended from women who have "emotional power" over them.

Glad you took the time to see what men's rights is about. I think a lot of men are getting upset by how society treats them, and that is why we find those extremist. Just try to educate and explain your new position to others so they can see that equality is a two sided coin.

Look the Jury was a majority of women and yet she was still found guilty. This is not a MRA issue. This is simply another case of murder. If SRS just posted murders committed by men, I am sure you would find it illogical. like I said below, if this was a statistic saying women are more likely to kill a child this would be a different story.
/r/MensRights25/06/13 12:27 PM
1

No, but like I said you want to post EVERY single time a women commits violence or murder? This sub would be flooded by these news stories that really don't have anything to do with MRA. Like I said we are already aware women have the capacity to kill.
/r/MensRights25/06/13 12:23 PM
1

So we are going to post every story of a women committing murder? I see your point but it is unnecessary. I think most people are aware that women are able to commit murders, if it was statistics involving overwhelming numbers of women committing murders it would be a different story. Showing one instance is not that relevant, anyone can do a google search and see literately millions individual of murder cases by women.
/r/MensRights25/06/13 03:45 AM

Men kill women and women kill men. Nothing new. The courts took care of it, if she got away with it then it would be a MRA issue.

I'm not, but at the same time you don't blame people in North Korea for believing the propaganda. Most of these people were never even exposed the opposing arguments and viewpoints. Give them a chance to learn and figure it out for themselves, that is what we should be trying to do by showing them the other side. I think it is silly to just expect them to automatically know when all they have been taught has been the opposite.
/r/MensRights24/06/13 01:47 AM

Because no one questions it anymore. They aren't used to someone objecting to it, they think it is a fact.
/r/MensRights23/06/13 05:32 PM

It is because these women are shoved propaganda down their throat their entire lives. They have always been told that men cause their problems. They don't see it as getting equality but fighting against men as they are the enemy to them.

Happy early birthday :) You are on reddit though and that is one of the lastest means to express thoughts and opinions online so it is becoming easier for older generations to be more involved. Great video, that really explains it well and makes me even more worried now haha. I didn't think of that way but it really is feminism in a nutshell. Keep it up as I think you are and can do a lot good for equality.

Just for some context how old are you (feel free to not answer) as I am 22 and in college so I guess more responsibility falls on my shoulders on this issue. I think it is also a lot easier for a woman to fight these issues, as you clearly have seen what happens to a man if he pushes on these issues. I think men are too scared to go against this as not only will they face verbal assault but even physical assault which there is nothing they can do about it. I am just kinda thinking out loud but w…

I think you over estimate them by thinking they will adhere to logic. Many of them don't even think there is a possibility that women can rape a man, in their eyes rape is something that can only happen to women. I shit you not when I brought up men being raped they said "oh the man did something to deserve it".
