I'm not your son, lol, but thanks for being a prime example of OP's point. A pathetic attempt at masculinity. Keep reading about it on Reddit, champ, I'm sure you'll get it someday.

It's not a societal expectation It absolutely is a societal expectation, what the fuck are you talking about? "Boys don't cry" is one of the most basic societal expectations that is forced onto children, and then breaking that expectation is often met with implied or actual violence, "I'll give you something to cry about."

a man who knows his own capacity for evil but chooses to be good is a better man than a weak man who doesn't know his capacity for evil. Sounds like some shit a psychopath would mutter to himself minutes before stabbing somebody on the metro.

Or, y'know, getting so angry about losing an election that you try to overthrow democracy. The entire American right wing is a perpetual white rage machine.

These men also think that they are not getting the “sexual best” from these women who previously have had casual sex. They aren't. The thing is, over-sexed chads are a good lay. They have more practice, are more dominant, and more adventurous. They're overall more exciting, and women respond to that by being more sexually open and adventurous themselves. Average Joe is just kinda there, and does his thing. It's rarely surprising in any way,, and special requests feel more "needy" than exciting. …

This is like, eating only soup for 7 years and then loudly proclaiming that soup is the best food ever and superior to all other foods. You haven't tried anything else, so how could you possibly know? Maybe you would have liked steak better, if you ever tried it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
