Every man needs the red pill philosophy. Maybe he gets it from an RP father, maybe some teacher in school, maybe he's tall and like sports so is exposed at an early age to women's true nature. However, with the rise of single motherhood, the driving out of men from primary and secondary education, and the political climate that demands pandering to the cultural marxist, the opportunities for a boy to be exposed to the ideas are few, and the alternative messages are coming in loud and clear. The …

Lots of good responses, here's my take on TRP derived from first principles. 1) Humans are animals. It doesn't matter that a few of the smarter ones of us figured out electricity and flight, civilization is two missed meals away from looking like the chimpanzee exhibit at the zoo. 2) The most important function of any animal is to reproduce. Prima facie looking at a person, the only thing you can say with 100% confidence about them is that they are the descendant of thousands of generations who …

TBH though, the guy is a dick. Never take a woman's story at face value. He could have come home from work and said "Doreen had a funny story today at lunch." Doesn't matter if there were 10 people sitting in a cafeteria having lunch together, if the wife knows that Doreen is a 22 year old nursing student who is thin with nice tits, all she hears and retells is "Younger woman threatening my resources."

Definitely go ahead and start out StrongLifts today. StrongLifts is designed to maximize your beginner strength gains, which come not from building more muscle, but from learning how to perform the major lifting movements and training your central nervous system to engage more muscle. You can make progress on the program while eating at a caloric deficit for a few months. Second, you'll find that once you incorporate lifting as an important part of your life, managing food becomes easy. It stops…

Her declining isn't a drawback, it's a win too, because now you've established disinterest and can move on with the evening. It's literally a win/win. You have an important observation since so many guys are afraid to pull a move like this, but once you reframe your view of the interaction with a new woman into one of rapidly establishing interest, you start to see failure to connect as a success, and become less afraid of bolder moves.

Remember, you're looking at him from the point of view of a man who is more able to objectively evaluate an individuals worth. Lacking the same objective nature, women are far more dependent on social cues. Hypergamy wants the guy at the top of the food chain, but how can she tell? The unifying feature of the poor bohemian and the corporate president is that nobody has power over them. This is the same reason why it's so important to cultivate a DGAF attitude. Such an attitude conveys that there…

Corollary: Always carry condoms with you. Even if you haven't gotten laid in a year, casually whipping one out nonverbally screams that sex is something you expect, not something you hope for. It starts her mind spinning with "who else is he fucking?!"

I'm guessing it has to do with his crippling fear of dying alone, something he jokes about in one of his sketches. He talks about how opening up your weakness to women just becomes ammunition they will throw back at you to make you so angry you call them a cunt, at which point the argument changes from her being crazy to how dare you call her that. In his case, his trigger was a woman telling him he'll die alone. I don't respect him any less for marrying, let alone marrying a feminist. TRP is ab…

Nice to see the pro-PUA side of TRP coming out again lately. I agree, Mystery gets way too much flack in this community. You see pics of him walking around in platform shoes and a top hat and think he's a douch. But as you say, he was behaving in a very masculine, methodical, scientific way. Observe women prefer tall men. Maximize the variable of high and see what happens. I like to think of the equation SMV = log(PUA) * log(Objective Value) You can max out either input, but to actually maximize…

Paraphrasing something else posted here, but basically women : emotions :: dogs : smells It's not a question of good and bad, it's a question of strong and weak Strong ones, be they smells or emotions, are interesting. This is a great concept to bring up. Used to be in interacting with women I'd gauge the success of the interaction by how positive or negative their feelings were. If they were getting angry that meant back off. Now I evaluate how the interaction is going based on if they are gett…

Hyperbole AND an ad hominem, you must fit right in over at r/feminism. Everything in life is incentive based. You don't pick up and put down weights in the same place because it's fun, you do it because the results you get lifting incentivize the activity. And yes, the larger society we exist in provides incentives to participate in it. When those incentives are removed, rational people choose different actions. Whether those different actions are checking out and spending all your time lifting …

Yes because telling young boys what they can and cannot do will restore their sense of independence and initiative... OP got it right, until the incentives return that reward young men for excelling instead of punishing them and/or writing off their accomplishments as male privilege, nothing will change.

All models are false, but some are more useful than others. This is such a powerful point, and the one that I have had the most success applying when nudging men I know towards TRP. It's easy for people to try and write off what we observe here as evo-psych bullshit. My response is always to stop looking for objective truth and start looking for utility. These men are function with a model that women share the male notion of truth, and confused when the world doesn't make sense. So fokkitail, be…

Lifting beats out body weight for one simple reason: simple linear progression. There's just no body weight equivalent of progression that is as easy as throwing another 5lb on the bar each successive day. You are Your Own Gym does an excellent job of laying out a body weight with progressive loading, and even then everybody I know who did it ends up hitting hard plateaus with no real good way to get by them. Glad to hear the results you had moving from lifting to bodyweight though, since I agre…

Well prison is on the extreme side of consequences, go into your local bar and start having real conversations with other men. You'll find men who've lost jobs, fortunes, children, and years of their lives to capricious women. The statement that "that's a pretty unique" system is what allows guys to stay plugged in. It's how the media can say that Ray Rice is a sign of a systematic problem in the NFL and force them to send hundreds of good husbands and fathers to classes, but Hope Solo is just a…

If you're going to reference evolutionary biology, then you need to take into account that that evolution occurred in tribes that were of a size below or at Dunbar's number. Altruism works in such societies because everybody knows everybody, therefor helping one person helps many people in my direct network. Also, since everybody knows everybody else, taking advantage of somebody's generosity will ultimately result in society shaming. Trying to scale this idea of altruism outside of an individua…

Why new ideas when the old ones work and work well? There is no magic TRP idea that will solve your problem, because yours is a demographic problem. You're wondering where all the 18-29yr old women are? Remember, women live for experience. Unlike men coming out of school who are generally moving to follow a long-term career path, women tend to decide what life they want to experience, generally a large urban area with lots of shiny things and stuff to do, then move there and find whatever job th…

6) Failure to acknowledge modern day reality Sure, men fuck up, but they're also playing marriage on hard mode. If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a patriarchy to keep a woman happy, not just her husband. Women used to need A single man, now the state has replaced that man by taxing all men. And remember, need is the root of a woman's love. Women used to be shamed for divorce and infidelity; now movies, music, and their own mothers are telling them to go find themselves ...on a bun…

It's likely a bigger problem for you as an African-American male, but even as a white man I've had black women I know try to shame me for hitting on basically every race except black women. For the longest time, for reasons I really couldn't understand, I thought I was a racist since I just wasn't attracted to black women. Then I spent two years working in rural sub-Saharan Africa surrounded by thin, pleasant, feminine black women. Now when they try to shame me, I tell them that I adore black wo…

Hypergamy means she wants a man of higher status. However, money does not always equal status. This is particularly relevant in today's culture where women in their 20s are outearning men in their 20s. This is why developing game and a good physical appearance is more important than ever for getting women today, your bank account has nothing to offer them. In your Aladdin example, why would she pick the most powerful of the princes when she was already accustomed to a life under a man more power…

TLDR: They're not gold digging whores, they're just pursuing maximal rational self-interest to the detriment of their collective interest. While you are completely correct, a bit of perspective on this behavior can help avoid the anger around the issue, which in turn can help you maintain a sense of amused mastery at all of the "when do you finish?" questions instead of coming off annoyed and flustered. Just as we view men fleeing from marriage not as commitment phobic peter-pans, but self-inter…

First things first, you need to reframe your expectations. They're not lying, you just don't understand the female version of truth. To them, "truth" is just a projection of their internal emotional state at a point in time. This is why it is entirely possible for them to recount different versions of the same events and completely avoid any feeling of cognitive dissonance. Second, yes there can be a point to calling them out, if you do it right. Calling women out as an attempt to feel vindicate…

There are several levels of thinking about how you deal with women in relationships. 0th Level) We are equal partners, sometimes people don't get along, sometimes it just doesn't work out, all I need to do is find the right girl, or maybe it's not the right time. 1st Level) This is when you find TRP and realize that your relationships are failing because of you. Because you are not taking a leading role in the relationship. This realization is powerful and leads to more successful relationships,…
