If you look at Selena Gomez, Mark Zuckerberg, and Beyonce, they are pressured by family, society, and friends to marry up. It is also reasonable that a poor person or a short person will marry someone shorter or poorer than them. Short person will not want to marry someone 3 inches tall than them.
