I’m sure she had suitors back then too but she turned them down At her age, it’s probably easier to believe that “I was ugly and no man wanted me”, than “I had many men interested in me and I f’ed it up.” There’s no potion bitterer than regret.

It’s 2025 now. No one believes marriage = constant access to sec.

If child support could be paid to the child directly (or saved into an investment account until the child comes of age), rather than to the “custodial parent” (read: mother), I wonder how many men would really avoid paying it.

The shaming is already (mostly) gone. Women are still the gatekeeper of sex, not because of avoidance of shaming, but because they don’t want to have sex with men that they deem no value. Women have no problem with being promiscuous, as long as their multiple partners are what they’re attracted to.

Mostly associated with low self-worth. You appear creepy when you are subconsciously feeling that you’re reaching for something above your level. This is why nice guys often give off creepy vibes even just by being nice. Creepy doesn’t mean ugly but unfortunately there’s a huge correlation. Attractive people are usually confident, because they consistently get positive feedbacks from people. Obviously ugly people with charisma do exist (hence not creepy), but these are usually rare and sometimes…

And you, my friend, are the true hero

Based on the same logic, a roof above your head is also not a need.

Women can be awful at sex, but they usually do not get the blame for it. When you hear someone is “good in bed”, is that someone usually a woman or a man?

Status is the amount of confidence and respect you command (without coping/posing).

I’ve seen a few militant feminists And for some reason they always hook up with the most burly redneck type of guys Go figure (This gets downvoted? You may close your eyes to reality, but it won’t do you any good)

I think it’s more about guys being less picky, resulting women have more choices.

No, no, no. It’s easier for women to have casual sex with top tier men, because men would fuck anything.

Too many things you’re trying to achieve all at once. This is high risk for exhaustion or mental breakdown. I’d suggest starting with one and carrying it through. (For example, it’s no small feat for anyone to lose 40 lbs, and accomplishing it will give you tremendous confidence for you to achieve the next item on the list)

Em no. It’s clear that girls often fall in love for someone “for himself”, typically with nice appearance and unique personality though. Guys who say “women just want money” are coping. They would rather attribute themselves being single to being poor (which they have a chance to change), rather than being short/ugly.

Because men would fuck anything, but not marry anything

Well you think men don’t see women the same way?? I have an obese female friend whom I have no romantic interest with, but once in a while she’d rant to me “if you truly care about me as a person you wouldn’t care how much I weight” To which I say nothing, because I don’t want to indulge her in wishful-thinking that won’t get her anywhere. Beauty is essential, and it’s not something we can control. All the characters in famous love-stories, historical or modern, are good-looking for a reason. I …

This is actually men’s fault, because most men would have sex with any woman who would have sex with them, therefore making it easy for a woman to have sex with almost any man, as long as she’s willing

Threaten her with divorce when all she did was shouting at your dad - that’s what I call when the reaction is not proportional to the offense. It doesn’t show strength. It shows weakness. Reminds me of what trump did during his presidency. China pressing on the trade war? Immediately ban Chinese companies. Covid affecting the economy? Immediately lower interest rate to 0. Now what? Inflation is through the roof. Does this show strength? This shows weakness, for it indicates a lack of resources a…
