It really depends on the job. If spouse is her primary qualification they aren't going to research h her family history. Yes you are correct a person can divulge anything they would like but an employer is not entitled to that info. If her husband gets transferred that's how it goes and can't be used against her. If she wants to disclose it this is still not the way to go about it. Like I said it could be ignorance.

Potential employees have no obligation to disclose information that could pose challenges in the future. Some jobs are open to or give preference to service members and their spouses, but this not the way to disclose that info. It could be from a place of.ignorance and not entitlement but there reason she needs to be upfront with personal things about her situation

As a former marine, I'd say if you can carry your gear and keep up and pass the same marksmanship test everyone else does fine. You'll still be a liability if it comes to hand to hand, but we're all likely dead at that ppint anyway.

Everyone in the marine corps is also a rifelman. You train far less if that isn't your primary mos, but you still get some training in case they need to turn you into infantry. That's unique to the marine corps.

What evidence though? All the evidence we have shows the biker acted in self defense. You have zero knowledge of any other details that justify her actions. Is it possible it exists, sure, but we have plenty of eye witness accounts that show she was the aggressor. She caused damage to his property and fled the scene. It's reasonable for a person to want to get that person's plate number and address. I acknowledged in my first comment that the best move would have been to take down that info leave the scene and call the cops. He instead decided to remain in the area. The issue is he was on public property and she was inside her home while he was waiting for police to arrive. She then according to witnesses exited her home brandishing a gun. It was then that the biker drew his concealed weapon and shot her. It's a pretty good case for self defense. Obviously the biker could have noted her address and left, but she also could have remained in her home.

Except he wasn't the only one that followed her after she hit the motorcyclist and according to those witnesses she exited her home brandishing the gun. The bikers gun was concealed at the time. Not to mention rational people that feel threatened remain in their home.

You aren't really talking about fat, it is difference in weight. You can be a healthy adult man at 200lbs depending in height and be an over weight woman at 150lbs. So yes to a certain degree how much you way is out of your control.

True, but I would be very surprised to find that this is a random one off incident for her. She's likely been coddled and spoken to about poor behavior in the past but faced no real consequences. I think it's entirely possible they didn't want to deal with the paperwork to request a blood sample. Pretty much just speculation from the both of us at this point though. Also she was in the process of being arrested, a process she resisted. The officer says I'm placing you under arrest at which point she puts the key in the ignition and tries to roll up her window. There's plenty of instances of cops with a chip on their shoulder, but I'm not sure this is the best case to make that point.

I don't know. There is nothing reported about why she wasn't charged with that particular crime. If I had to guess, it's probably because they never administered a blood test showing she was impaired at the time. Given the other charges, tacking on a misdemeanor driving charge probably wasn't too high on their list of priorities.
