I wish this was true, but I think you'd be surprised at some of the radical positions that mainstream dem leaders are touting nowadays. People with these opinions are all around you, not just locked in basements.

Regarding prosecutions, sounds like you were pretty lenient. I remember when I was in school, I knew a kid who got arrested for stealing some stickers from a store during a field trip. Super interesting, got any more to share? What's something else that's commonly stolen that would surprise us? Do you guys prosecute every shoplifter? Also, I noticed my target has (or used to have) what looked like fake security cameras in certain aisles. I always noticed them in the pharmacy area. Made me wonder, how many people you guys actually had watching the cameras there, is it a huge staff like a casino, or just 1-2 employees?

The shot came from another vehicle passing by, and police have previously said they do not believe the shooting was random. Maybe she had a real gun and talked to some of her homies to get retaliation on him.

15 months is a mild inconvenience in the scope of the rest of her lifetime. The man she killed will be dead forever. Her sentence should really hurt - she needs to experience true loss, whether it's 5, 10, or 20 years, it's still less than the amount of time she stole from her victim - and she should be reminded of that.

Hearing the interview with the officer, sounds like pass granted to me. From the video: "Looking back, I was furious. The fact that I'm trying to keep this woman safe, and she is trying to bite my arm. But at the same time, there is that matter of sympathy. She was drunk, she was in a state where she didn't really know what she was doing." I don't recall hearing a lot of officers give the same sympathy to drunk dudes who attack them.

Agreed. It's a strange double think. Why do they feel the need to talk about how strong they are all the time? Furthermore, why is strength all of a sudden a necessary female trait? Women have so many amazing characteristics, why do they need to take over male roles now? It seems like every day I see a new trailer or TV show starring some "strong powerful women" - jesus christ. Just let women be women.

It really bugged me the first time, and I didn't even realize what it was. We had a new hire in the office, and as a small company we usually do some kind of activity to welcome a new hire, like a lunch or happy hour. So this new girl gets hired, and they go around asking certain people from every team to go out to her welcome lunch, but many of us weren't invited - and we couldn't figure it out. That's awesome, similar thing with my GF. The women at my workplace though, different story. Maybe it's my fault because I work in Silicon Valley, but they send out company-wide emails congratulating all the strong brave women of the company on Women's Day, go on women's only lunches, and actively talk about prefering to hire women. To me, the infestation of politically correct/SJW ideas into corporate culture is a huge problem.
