Did you deliberately cultivate an RP mentality, or did you gravitate here because you recognized it as something you were already practicing?Agree completely: The wall is definitely not a hard fast 30 years old for everyone. | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/06/18 05:28 PM
RP truths vs Feminism -- I need some encouragement!I always say Feminism and RPW are not incompatible but I am aware I am an outlier in this group, and always will be. I’ve probably said that in ever post I ever make in here. Part of that for me probably comes from the fact that RPW isn’t really something I ‘discovered’ or that ‘enlightened’ me, it’s literally how I was raised— and at the same time that I was raised that way I was never taught to limit myself. Women in my family have been accomplished even in times when women didn’t go to school… | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/06/18 05:17 PM
What do you think it means to be a Red Pill Woman? To me RPW is about mastering and using traditional gender roles in my personal and romantic relationships. I usually feel like an outlier in this sub. My RPW philosophy is in line with an old book I read in the 90s called “La Princessa: Machiavelli for women, or something similar. It’s actually a career book.” The essence of it all was that by trying to diminish what makes you feminine and by trying so hard to blend in with men, you set yourself up to lose because you’re trying to be what you’re… | /r/RedPillWomen | 08/05/18 09:18 AM
Sometimes talking to post wall shrews can be helpful.Yes, and everyone who does not consider themselves a classical feminist should reflect on whether or not they are a sour nag. There’s a line of thought in this forum where women think disavowing feminism will protect them from their bad behavior which is inherently female It’s like complaining about the right angles in squares and then reaching for a rectangle to solve the problem. My initial post was not to challenge whether or not these stereotypes also apply to feminists— of course they do, t… | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/10/17 01:00 PM
Sometimes talking to post wall shrews can be helpful.Well that’s exactly my point: If these are negative characteristics of women at large, I think it undermines the argument that these are characteristics of “feminist women” Perhaps these women have these characteristics because they are typical women, rather than being feminists. That said, I’ll reiterate that I don’t think I have the same definition of feminism as many women who use this board or people who subscribe to TRP philosophy generally. I will check out that book. | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/10/17 12:51 AM
Sometimes talking to post wall shrews can be helpful.I’m not sure being a sarcastic passive aggressive nag is very feminist. It plays into all the negative female stereotypes I ever heard growing up: emotional, illogical, nagging, insecure and unable to address anything directly or maturely. But I accept that I have a different view of feminism than most women on this board or women who subscribe to RPW ideology. I do agree it is helpful to see bad behavior though, because from the outside you can really see how destructive and stupid it really is… | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/10/17 03:20 PM
Being redpill and being blackI didn't respond to this thread for that exact reason. I was NOT taught to hate men, am black, am from a married two-parent household, and quite frankly only grew up around the same and I encounter people from similar homes regularly. I have to say I think there are more class issues involved in marital dynamics than anything else, and class across cuts all races. And I always give a post the side eye if they can confidently say "Everyone of my race does XYZ." | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/09/17 02:56 AM
