I hear you. This kind of stuff just gets my blood boiling. Her life shouldn't be 'ruined', maybe a wrong word choice, but she does need to be punished. I seem to read about this kind of false charge a fair amount these days, so something needs to be done to deter future fake claims. Think about this young man, stuck in prison, if he didn't have issues before, well he will now. If she's not punished, what kind of message does this send to other women, let alone the man in prison? How would you fe…

I feel sorry for that lady's kid, what chance will that kid have with such a crazy mother/grandmother? We'll end up (society) paying for all their mistakes with their kid. The rest of us shouldn't have to put up with people's shitty behaviour. Everybody say's look the other way, don't get involved. It's that kind of attitude that has fostered this shitty behaviour. You can get through this brother! Head down, push through. Wonder if you explained to the courts about your situation (including your depression) if they would go easier on you and reduce your monthly payment? I'm sure someone who has gone through this exact thing will see your post and respond with some first hand advice. Keep us updated, don't do anything everyone will regret. I don't think I would mention being suicidal to the courts though...but you should seek help for that! Please. No one …

Don't worry about it op. I'm approaching 40 too, and although I am divorced and saw that Young Turks piece you mentioned, the women aren't beating down my door. I'm okay with that. I sometimes feel lonely too so I got a dog. Most of those lonely times are gone now. Get an escort if you have to, but I suggest you get a dog or a cat if you can. Best decision (besides getting rid of my cheating ex-wife and a boatload of money) I've ever made.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
