I do not know about r/feminism, it's probably a cesspool/circlejerk like everything on the internet, but I do know that the political parties that consider themselves feminist in my country (which are most of them) are not anti-male or anti-men's rights, so I would not equate feminists with extremists. I've talked to a lot of feminists, was raised feminist, and yes, I think feminists are concerned about the wellbeing of boys. I also just wrote an essay about how men are discriminated against in the allocation of Covid-vaccinations using feminist arguments and my feminist prof liked it.
