First, you are conflating free will - the capacity to make choices - with socially acquired values. Second, you are assuming that socialization is not inherent and natural human behavior. If free will exists, and there's pretty strong evidence on both sides of that argument, how could it possibly be learned behavior? Were you an automaton up until a certain age?
