I don't get people like this. I came from a well off family and my parents didn't spend half that in us 3 kids. That includes the mandatory socks, pants and sweater fillers xD haha. I think we all came up pretty well adjusted. One thing is for certain, if you don't have the money, don't spend what you don't have.

While what you're saying somewhat makes sense, the fact that sexual deeds and content goes on in a country and then a woman who writes gay erotica goes to prison is just too far. If anything, this goes against the same-sex movement. Do we see men going to prison for writing erotic sexual content? Do we see women go to prison for writing sexual content? But this woman did go to prison for writing about GAY erotica. Woman or man, they would have been put in prison for writing that. It's not a puss…

If I were being GENEROUS with her, I'd give her both sentences (of the men if they had been convicted) served concurrently and that would be a GIFT rather than consecutively. Let her spend at least 5 years in prison. One year is just insulting. So... guys' lives don't matter? If she had been a better liar then those two men would have spent more than a decade in prison? And she gets off with 1 year? Equality my ass.

I think punishing people is right, but this woman is a waste of food, air and space. She really needs to be put out of her misery. We already have a population problem. Why waste money and resources on a person who shouldn't be released again into society? Violent criminals shouldn't be released again into society, so why waste public money on people like that? Don't forget: prison is aimed at reform (even if it's poorly done...). There's no reforming people like that.

I hate the word "mansplaining," is there womansplaining? I'm seriously asking. I only hear Mansplaining, so is the regular term "explaining" the same as womanspaining then? I'm honestly curious. Actually they go into arbitration (despite it being called Judge Judy) with Judge Judy, and it's legally binding. So both parties agreed to honor whatever the outcome is. Now, apart from having to honor whatever the Judy says, the show DOES pay the people who appear (from what I've seen) 150-500 dollars per person, their flights, hotels and food when in NY to record the show.

When I started to read this I really had high hopes that she was trying to keep a hard working father and daughter together or something righteous. But this guy had drugs on him and had been deported multiple times. How on earth was it a good or... Mediocre idea to try and get this guy to stay in the country? She really needs to be checked out because her moral compass doesn't seem to be aligned correctly or in line with other judges.
