I'm for this one. "Honestly? You shouldn't", delivered with a confident smirk. Alternatively, depending on the context (ie. how the conversation got you there) "Wait, are you asking me out?"

If someone asked you "would you trade losing your wallet and a bit of pride for potentially years of legal issues", what would be your response? Remember that stabbing someone, even in self-defense, could bring a lot of unwanted consequences. Think cool and depersonalise. Picture this story but happening to someone else: " A guy is sitting at the store, some random sneaks up and pulls a knife, demanding cash. This guy says he has none and the would-be mugger leaves the scene" Do you see broken e…

He's a guy risking his life and years of prison time for potentially 20 bucks. I honestly don't think he has anything on you.

Absolutely. It's just an ugly wake up when you realise your friend doesn't REALLY want you to own a successful business or your girlfriend doesn't REALLY want you look ripped due to their own insecurities.

Not my quote: "People want you to be successful. Just not too successful."

I haven't seen you, but seriously doubt it. You're probably just not used to seeing yourself in one. Try different options, such as tucked/untucked or rolled up sleeves, depending on the occasion. Personally, I find you can rarely go wrong with black pants (even black slim jeans are ok) and a white, long sleeve button down shirt. Consider adding a plain, thin material v-neck sweater.

It's never too late to work on yourself. "It's too late" is often the biggest fallacy. "It's Wednesday and I had a burger for lunch, I'll start my diet on Monday" What's wrong with starting now? "I'll sign up for the gym next month, don't have money right now" Fair enough, how about going for runs or doing bodyweight excercises in the meantime? "I don't have time to read a book right now, I'm too busy" Could happen, why don't you watch/listen any of the video material on youtube while in the toi…

-Work out. Seriously, not on on and off like you are doing. -Get your nutrition straight. -Appearences matter in every aspect of life. Work hard but make sure it is known. -Be more assertive and aggressive in your professional life. -Don't pay too much attention to what others think. -People tell you that you look good as you are. That is not true. -People tell you it is "cool to be yourself". That is a half-truth and it doesn't mean you should spend so much time doing unproductive things.

In corporate, it's always the old directive "bring your manager a solution, not a problem". Ultimately in many cases what you need is either a tick (aka backing) or budget. If you go with the problem (eg. "this supplier sent the wrong order again and now Sales is complaining") , you're burdening your manager with something that they most likely have no idea how to solve. If you come with one or ideally more solutions, you're showcasing your talent (eg. "this vendor sent the wrong material again,…

If the best you can say about someone is that you've known the for a long time, then they're probably not worth keeping around.

In front of a work audience I'd resort to " we all make mistakes, we'll revise it", perhaps even "We all make mistakes, you know a thing or two about it..." Definitely a private conversation about this, to make him understand that he needs to separate personal interactions from professional environment interactions.

Counting calories is for hardcore lifters It is if you aim for 100% accuracy. Calorie counting and nutrition are always ballpark, but if used with discipline and honesty it will help you understand what you are really eating. Even if your logged intake is 20% off, if it helps you go from 3000 to 2000 kcal a day, you are already making great progress.

Probably worked in the past TBH. Also, might be thinking of her own criteria (pre-selection bias, etc) and assuming it applies to men as well.

If you can actually benefit from someone telling you "just be confident", you haven't internalised what confidence is.

This is VERY accurate. In networking you will get based on what you can be reasonably expected to give back. Out of the whole wide world, there has to be a reason why people want to stay in touch with you and eventually do favours: Are you fun to hang out with? Are you the gatekeeper for something other people might want (buyer at a large company, HR consultant, drug dealer, you get it)? Do you have an already large network of contacts that people might want to join ("it's good to know him, he h…

most of them are full of shit tests and are immature/disrespectful bitc*es. All they have to offer is their body and for an hour of pleasure I have to face their shitty behavior,I give my effort and drain my energy for a wet hole. Can't fit MGTOW because they are misogynist? Did you red what you wrote?

True, but it is in spite of that. They could lose that and make their own lives easier.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
