I live in a state where the parent(s) have 30 days from when a child is born to drop them off at any hospital, fire station, or police station and "walk away from parenthood" with no questions asked. So women already have that right, here anyway.

Don't believe it for one second. The average man and the average woman both have average looks. The women who use OkCupid are just overestimating how "good" a man is "supposed" to look. Beauty is mostly a force of nature for both sexes. Much of what we perceive as beauty involves subconsciously looking at body shape ratios and symmetry. All makeup and hair products can do is accent it.

I would be very surprised if those numbers were truly indicative of the whole of society.

I wouldn't say that they're demeaning to anyone. They are exploitative in some ways but no worse than many other businesses.

Usually when it's said that a man is sleeping with women for "sport," it implies that he's a player. I definitely don't idolize players. I find them to be somewhere between annoying and offensive. As for men who have many partners for whatever reason but are not players, I don't have any problem with them. If that's what they like, so be it. But I don't idolize them for it either.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
