Yes they have lower standards, yes there’s the same ‘men are more disposable’ mindset, yes they’re more likely to work office jobs or may get pregnant before deployment, but a lot of them have 0 choice in the matter once they sign up. After you enlist, you barely get to choose what you do or where you go. You don’t get to choose when/where/if you deploy. The actual suicide rate per week of males is 40+ but reports don’t show if they’re fathers or not.
