I'd rather have my mellow harshed now then after 3 years and 6 figures of debt. I'd be curious to see how other professions stack up in regards to that regret about career path choice.

Point taken. Thanks for the reply. "I never mistake work and my passions" This may be a harsh truth that I will have to accept. I'm 20 years old, I still have quite a bit of ignorance and optimism in regards to matters such as these.

I appreciate the time and thought that went towards this reply. I certainly have been applying the advice you gave me here. I joined a dance class and a toastmasters speaking club since moving away from school temporarily (which are both pushing me far out of my comfort zone). I am seriously into powerlifting. Useful advice. I'll revisit this at a later point. I will say, I really am pushing past a lot of 'nice guy' tendencies and just being an all around people pleaser.
