18	Completely honest question... isn't thinking all feminists are misandrists just as bad as thinking all MRAs are misogynists? I think most women who call themselves feminists are genuinely interested in equal rights and those people aren't misandrists. 14	False accusation ends in not guilty verdict. Father of the accuser says "She's a good daughter. And if she said he did it, he did it." It's a natural part of the body! It's sort of "stowed" when the penis is erect (so no it doesn't get in the way). It's quite a sensitive area - it enhances sexual sensation. 9	San Francisco man hopes to bring about ban on circumcision I think it's mostly a USA thing. Circumcision is not very common in my country (Australia) and most people wouldn't have it any other way. But let's say I started a group called "white-ism" advocating the rights of white people and it very genuinely sought to redress the imbalance between people of various skin colors by advocating only for the interests of white people... But calling it an "equal rights" movement is predicated on the assumption that only women need rights advocacy. That in itself is a fundamentally sexist position to hold. Using it brings the focus on to women who are being sexist. Only by calling them out are we going to combat sexism. But I disagree slightly about your definition of the word "feminist". I don't believe feminism advocates equally for men and women. I'd prefer to call it a women's rights movement rather than an equal rights movement because in the end it advocates only for women - just as you'd expect from the name.	/r/MensRights	16/01/11 06:40 AM
