Yeah you're right, my comment was invalid since you rephrased your question.

The problem with your thought process is why does the clothing make a difference. vs the mugging. The only difference in your mugged or raped story is the clothes of the person. Mugger doesn't turn into a rapist. He was already willing to go there. I'm also not a fan of "Partial blame" for a majority of crimes. If I don't lock my door. Why should I be blamed for some other guy coming where he shouldn't belong and taking what doesn't belong to him. We take those precautions because there are assh…

I see a lot of posts on here similar to this and it's always the same mentality "I accepted the red pill and now all my friends are have changed" Usually a plethora of insults hurled at the friends and then the comments are just supporting OP. And in all these posts the same thing occurs. The friends don't change but OP does. You are the one changing. You are the one changing the dynamic of the relationship. It isn't their fault for wanting one thing and not going with you. And they're not bad p…

This sounds good in theory. Just ignore the racist individuals and you'll be fine. It is just really bad in practice. All your "racism encounters" were ones with absolutely no long term effects or consequences. It's easier to just bounce back them. But what if you weren't able to get a job or were turned down just because your name sounds different? Why should it be more difficult to get a job? Is it fair that you get longer prison sentences because you're not white? Is it fair that voting areas…

Oh no, it's definately true. I'm sure you heard the expression a pinch of truth and a cup of poison on here. And that's what it is. The problem with the sub isn't that it doesn't work, it's the danger that you lose yourself. That whole sub isn't about just getting sex anymore. It's about demonizing and villifying women to a point where they become second class citizens. Their so angry and frustrated. It's like they lost hope...and many of them did. They lose sight the bigger picture and their hu…

Can everyone stop trying to validate how they spend their time and judge how others spend it? Are you being forced to watch the sport? Let people spend time how they see fit. It literally harms no one by watching the damn sport.

I don't understand how giving up on pursuing ideals is the noble option here. Things aren't equal, there are definately hidden barriers in regards to gender, race, sexual preference, but the goal or solution isn't to regress into hard fisted measures but to transgress and overcome. There are certain ideals worth pursuing and acting accordance in, whether obtainable or not, any forward progress is beneficial. You can't get to 99% without passing 98%. I don't understand how one can believe that ma…

You're post is based off that equality shouldn't exist between both genders and that people are not born equal and should be given basic human rights. By limiting the employment opportunities to women you exclude them the opportunity to create and pursue a life that they choose or want. It is more dangerous because it is a denial based off a fact that they themselves cannot choose. Marriage - The issue is that courts are more favorable to women than men. Love is not unconditional and people are …

This seems to be more of an issue on wording and phrasing. There is way to say things without being apologetic or insulting. From his sentence the only offensive part of it is the word "wasting". "I've never understood why people play computer games, I can't imagine wasting my life in front of a computer screen." VS "I've never understood why people play computer games, I can't imagine (spending) my life in front of a computer screen." The second sentence does so much more than the first. It doe…

Use whatever you want. A sponge will save you money in the long run instead of using paper towels. But once you're done using an item (A bowl, cutting board, knife, spoon...) just wash it real quick and put it in your drying rack (or dishwasher if you have one). Take a sponge and just wipe down the counter after you're done using it. Wash the pots as you transfer items and is no longer needed. Get a hard bristled brush (with handle) to deal with anything that gets stuck (burnt) onto the pans. Wi…

haha, i just assumed people would have the receipe printed out or on a screen (iPad, Phone) to readily look at. I still refer to it when cooking even though I read it 3x.

I recently started teaching myself how to cook and here are some helpful tips to start: Read the recipe 3x before doing anything so you know what is coming next Do all your prep work first - Trying to cut a pepper while making sure your onions don't burn rarely works out Clean as you go. Wash it right away. Wipe the counter down as something is cooking. There are settings other than High Learn how to cut an onion (and other vegetables) - Yes there are correct techniques and ways to make everythi…

Our friendship has definitely changed since that moment. Back then she wouldn't have done the same but we have gotten really close since then and has done the same for me since. I used it as example as I feel like if a situation with a new girl happened I know I would just do the same exact thing due to the conflict of morality I seem to have in regards with it.

This. So much this. I've been on TRP for about a month and I could agree more. TRP is good if you avoid the extremism. The analogy I use is with Islam. Islam isn't bad. It's the extremists who give it a bad name.

Downvotes are meant to be used for bad or off topic comments. They are not meant to be used for differing opinons. Though if the world worked as it should, we'd all be married to loyal women, with our biological children with a living wage.

I feel like a lot of posts are taken to an extreme position and that there is no room for moderation I.e. the plethora of posts saying women or not equal, beneath men biologically and mentally.(I understand not everything is equal ground unless it i.e.pregnancy, periods, or physical strength) and that nature drives all motives which it doesn't for humans. Sure we evolved some traits that help certain gender roles and drive certain activities but the fact that we are mentally aware means we can c…

"Talk like a white person" - Means that you speak properly i.e. limited use of slang, better pronounciation, correct tone and volume and inflection, and most likely a better vocabulary and general control of emotion. (Racist sure) I refrain from telling any of my coworkers about my use of anything other than alcohol (and then it's only I'll have a beer with friends or while watching the game). I don't want my stories to be office gossip or reflect poorly on me. I also don't date in the office. B…

I've been on TRP for a month and initially started using it just a guideline or motivational tool to improve my life (Lifting, gaining skills). I read but didn't care heavily on the posts about women at first. I'd probably say I'm in the Denial phase of the 5 Stages of TRP in regards to women. I'm beginning to realize that women do act and behave the way it is represented on here but the part where I am having difficulty is reconcilling it with not only my past beliefs (i.e. Disney Fucking Fairy…

In regards to your point of denying "material biological humanity...animal nature" I always viewed it as a strength pf mankind to do so. We are intelligent and capable of reason. And because we are capable of it, we get angry and upset when it isn't used I.e. hamstering. I know I'm naive in this point, but I do feel it is better for man to strive towards an ideal vs accepting the current status (or operating within the machine so to speak). While I understand perfect ideals can and never be met,…

If you listen to the lyrics of most music it's catered to high school kids (that age group at least). The themes are really repetitive whether it is falling in love, breaking up, ridicule from being different, going against the grain, rebelling against the imposed rules of society, being yourself. These are all common themes, thoughts and stages that every kid growing up can relate to and goes through. It's more easily identifiable in certain bands such as Linkin Park and Three Days Grace but Me…

It's probably the same over the course of history. It's skewed now because the internet allows all points of view to be put out there. It's moreso lopsided because those quotes and sayings and people have passed the test of time. You aren't hearing the other 2 billion men and their thoughts who lived at the time.

You can read the last portion to decide if the rest is worth reading. Sometimes the conclusion is either a well known concept, which doesn't need further exploring on your part or it does which merits a deeper look. The post is relevant to the OP but may not be to the reader. It's more like deciding whether the conclusion/topic is worth spending your time on.

Could you point out the specific points where my post became "emotional"? I'm not seeing it. Please let me know if you were confused on my bell curve or robbery analogy, and I can further explain. Or refute any of the points you believe are nonsensical. Please feel free to answer any of the questions I asked you. If you do try to answer them, I think (well hope) that you'd understand my view or at the very minimum expand your viewpoint on the issues.

Let's try this again. The glass ceiling is just a specific form of discrimination and includes minorities in its definition, not solely gender. You're argument against women leading is that they are women. You don't need to put it on a pedestal but you don't need to stomp it into the ground and set it fire. The opposite of crazy is still crazy right? There is a difference between standing against a message and the way a message is delivered. You seem to be mingling the two. You keep saying stand…

You're just saying women are inferior and by extension shouldn't have the same rights and opportunities as men. Women can be raped and protest against it. They aren't all just trying to forget it happened. People react differently. So those protestors could have been "really" raped. There is no set way to deal with it. To say otherwise is discounting that rape happens. Now I'm against the false rape, or because they regret it, but if a guy drugs or forcibly places himself on a woman, i am agains…

I suffered through depression and all the advice was just start doing something (anything really, but preferrably something you have the slightest of interest in) and just start doing it. A little at a time. I picked up the guitar and started learning how to cook, and reading again. I had the thought "It'd be nice if I could..." so I decided fine I'll try. I didnt' buy a guitar at first. I just read a short article here or there and then my interest started to peak. I know it seems so circular i…

So have no of the protestors been raped? If they have, was it not real? Or are they all false accusers? Phrasing matters, unless thats the point you were trying to make.

Don't know how you're article relates to the statement but ok, i guess you can put that there. I wasn't arguing how well spent the life portion of that balance was. If people want to spend it watching tv, then fine, thats what they want to do. The reference was more to the lack of vacation days, the culture of using those vacation days, the expectation of long hours, and the viewpoint that personal time, events, wants and desires come second to the companies needs. And I am going to assume, that…

This is a a huge and ridiculous issue and I can only speak to terms of the USA and we are so bad at this. We have no concept of a work/life balance. But I don't count this as a men's right issue or unwarranted privelage. Pregnancy has a physical toll, not to mention the adjustment, the follow up visits, and bonding and nurturing (or whatever takes place). She can't have a kid and go back to work the next day. I think anyone who doesn't approve of giving women off for pregnancy just hates women a…

Thank you. This perfectly expresss what TRP is for me. I've only been coming here for a couple weeks and I put my pill date as of 6 days ago (when I actively started putting things into effect). To me, it was always about this and not about getting women at all. I wish there was more things related to just being a better person, or living a better life, rather than getting women. I know TRP likes to use the term SMV, but doing everything (lifting, gaining a skill, getting a good job...) is all j…

My interpretation is the second judgement is where it primarily excludes an official appeals process and/or is more subjective in nature. An interviewer can state pretty much any reason for not liking you as so can a date. You can argue your position, but at no point do they have to or feel the need to change their position based upon anything other than emotion. These are the judgements we make with people initially. There is no or very limited review (internal or external) to determine whether…

I'm new to TRP (about 3 weeks) and I couldn't agree more with this already. I took the TRP as working on increasing SMV and just bettering yourself in general. But all the posts are exactly what you mentioned and annoying as hell.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure that they now need to prove that they aren't just a body. And because she initiated the thought of her being an object for sex, she now has to gain ground to lift her up from that status. She'd get self-conscious real quick.
