Describing a completely neutral person as bitchy for minding their own business is ridiculous - they haven’t even done anything to you

Yep and these are just famous names - not even mentioning the countless examples I have from real life

You can filter all you like, at the end of the day everybody is capable of deceit, concealment and changed behaviour. Of course there can be indications but it's ridiculous to act as if filtering is a guarantee for an autonomous person's actions

Sure, but knowing specifically what is unsatisfactory is different from having the stance "being alone is more appealing than being in a satisfactory relationship". That goes without saying even if you have no experience

you do not need to have been in a relationship to have that stance, it's just common sense

You've spent this whole thread going on and on about people judging age gap relationships but just said 85 and 18 is weird lol. People feel the same way about smaller gaps for the same reason

A man could have all those qualities but the age in and of itself is inherently unattractive In this hypothetical where they look the same (lol..) it's so obvious whether they're from my gen or not by the subtleties of the things they say, interests, cultural knowledge and way they speak. Nobody can escape the how do you do kids vibe

Which part of that comments suggests they serve no purpose..? unless said men see nothing worthwhile in their own lives beyond young women who don't reciprocate their interest

At ALL lol

I'm actually not - you are the one who mentioned envy hence my mention of attention/interest. If pushback from younger girls is due to envy/bitterness - I'm asking what or exactly who that envy/bitterness would be towards? And nothing I said is non-applicable to relationships either...

Nobody has to tell us anything to find guys our attractive/fun and not see older men as a sexual/romantic option lmao - that being fed to us is just cope lol You also have no idea what I've been told all my life by people around me

Lmao why would my peers and I envy attention that WE are constantly getting? We envy ourselves? There are so many other reasons to be weary or grossed out. From the innocuous (finding guys my age more attractive, valuing shared cultural context/not being out of touch) to the more suspicious

Depends on how big the gap is bc some definitely deserve to be heavily judged but the original point was simply to counter the argument that the only people that dislike it are "older/bitter/jealous" - a huge bulk of the aversion actually comes from us

No, the idea of dating a man a lot older than me feels gross no matter who they are Extreme example, but the same way saying the thought of dating someone related to you is gross doesn't mean the PERSON themselves is gross - that distinction is how a lot of us feel. Men out of my age group simply don't register as sexual/romantic options on my radar

The point is our comments are always 100% attributed to older women saying it out of jealousy, but a lot of these men seem to ignore/deny that a lot of us receiving this attention in our late teens-early 20s actually have zero interest and still find it gross

You guys always do this thing where you assume the comments aren't also coming from those of us in our early 20s, girls my age say the same thing ALL the time

That doesn't have anything to do with sexual attraction

False lol

They really have no idea lol

That's not more shallow though, that's more picky. They do not mean the same thing at all

If sex is proof of love why would it be insisted on early in the relationship? Since love isn't the starting point and develops over a period of time?

I find it difficult to give ratings out of 10 since attraction is more binary for me, but I'm not attracted in the slightest

How did you get repulsive from that? Most people are just neutral looking

I'm curious, why are you astounded?

Yes we do lol

A lot of the time it's those of us who are younger who say these things and dislike getting approached by older men. You guys just assume that all negative comments are written by older women

One is calling all women children on the basis of their sex, the other on their age...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
