Thanks man, hang in there. It gets better. That’s a terrible experience and I’m sorry you and your kid experienced that. It blows my mind, I would have the same reaction as you. My daughter got her period and when she visited her mom, hoping for mother daughter advice and guidance, she got “your school taught you right? Hey your cousin is here (same age), she can take you to the store and you can go pick maxipads together” wtf? Or worst: one birthday, she didn’t call my daughter at all until the…

Teenage daughter hates her mom. The younger ones are conflicted, but very clear that Mom doesn’t do anything yet. They all hate her a fair partner who she denies having an affair with. It’s all pretty pathetic and sad. The story is long and it’s actually pretty funny because I allowed it to have it and allowed this guy to creep into our lives but honestly the great silver lining is I’m much happier and dating a beautiful woman that is difficult at times but still better than what I was in. I’m s…

My ex, who I had hired a full time nanny/maid living in house, dreaded summer vacations abroad because she had to do everything herself (laundry, no cooking) and complained that she was just a maid on trips. So what does that make me, the driver/ chauffeur tour guide and full time employee working remotely? She had no job either and I entertained the kids. My kids told me she never once did a puzzle with them, played board games, nothing. Yup, martyrdom…

But why does it matter. I felt the same way but now I realize she did me favor, I am free and get to live a life the way I want with endless possibilities. The future is daunting as a single father but it’s also like the gloomy clouds lifted and I can do anything now without… that huge cloud raining all the time causing me to wilt and succumb to the dull inevitable future

It gets better. How much, YMMV, but I can say is I’m single, going out with old friend and some new ones too, meeting some beautiful women. People who are a million miles better than my ex.

My friends care, they took me out once for drinks. Then that’s it. Oh they also use me for excuse to go drink, lots of times without me. Lol

You got this. Save them. Don’t let her manipulation get in your head. Gray rock method. Just monotonous responses, just don’t react. But take care of the kids, stay constant and they will thrive as long as there is one constant. Be their North Star.

Yo it’s not easy but we men are built to handle tough. We can’t crumble and we can’t falter. Be strong bro. Many times I feel like laying down and crying but what’s that gonna do to change the situation. Improve self and be the best father you can be of your means. You got this

Apparently I’m a heavy drug user so she decided to rescue herself and abandon the kids because I’ll take better care of them. Which is it, lady?

You got this. I paid for YouTube and not having ads makes using it so much more enjoyable. Whenever I feel silence I just turn it on my phone and play some standup or improv whatever. It’s entertaining and actually nicer than having to quietly listen to not wake the lazy sob dob

Viagra is the key. It was a mental block for me at first but after a few times with assistance I’m back to normal. Sometimes a little blue pill makes everything more fun though, I perform like a rockstar. One way to test is checking if you get morning wood. If you do, then you don’t have ED. I remember an expert mentioned a way to test is the postage stamp test Wikipedia article

At least your ex wife didn’t make your daughter cry on HER birthday! My daughter came to me in tears right before bed because her mom called her and complained that she didn’t call her. Because, apparently, it’s also HER big day, giving birth was so hard. She didn’t call her own daughter on her birthday. Calls to guilt trip daughter for not calling her and thanking her for giving birth to her . What type of narcissistic logic is this.

I am in similar situation, I found that her AP loves swinging and was trying to get our nanny to go swinging too. Just some sick stuff (no offense to swingers but I don't need people recruiting my domestic workers that take care of my kids). All lies from ex and AP (a guy I thought was our mutual friend) after she moved out. For almost a year all fault was placed on me not being good to her when in fact they were cheating and she wasn't being a mom at all to the kids. I have full custody and she…

No and yes. Don't tell them now, until they are older UNLESS she tells massive lies and tries poisoning the well. My ex has been doing all kinds of reckless accusations that I had to explain to my kids, using hints, that their mom might be seeing someone else. What's unfortunate is my kids already suspected this (the guy was a friend frequently at our house).

I feel you brother, hang in there. 3 kids and full custody. Everyone tells me to go meet someone new. How? And honestly, forget about it, I don't have the bandwidth. I'm just trying to survive. Ex is living her best life(I guess) with a guy I thought was our friend. They're still lying that they're together but we all know. It's sad and I hope my kids don't find out because they'll really feel abandoned. It's a trip. But God dang it feels good that they're snuggling with me daily. We Men don't q…

It's weird isn't it? The woman you fell in love, married, even have kids with can just become this whole other person and uses a bunch of lies to get what they want. I personally feel like my ex lied to me about so many things and pulls "I don't understand what I did wrong"

Body count / years sexually active. You then decide what's a ratio you can accept. 1 is my max I'd accept and anything lower than .5 is good for me. Of course this is just silly, who really cares

I feel you brother!! Sounds similar to me!! I had a burst of euphoria and everything too. It's a blessing in disguise! I am feeling a bit down sometimes due to the amount of work, overwhelming solo parent time, and loneliness at the end of the day but then again, shoot... I'm free of the BS. I had more stress from fights with her about raising the kids etc than doing it solo. If ya ever need to talk, hit me up. Single parenting is hard but you got this!

Yup! We've gone to autoimmune doctor but he only looked at some blood tests that said she's not in the range that needs synthroid. He didn't look at the clinical which is chronic fatigue, severe stomach pains, low libido, insane pruritis, etc. She would be in denial and tell the doc she's not tired or having any symptoms. Weird. Oh well

My ex is in denial about having hashimoto and low thyroid functions. She was diagnosed as a teenager but "it went away". It doesn't go away. I was never told she had this and she had forgotten all about it. To this date, she believes she's cured of it and I'm sure it's part of why I'm a single dad now

One thing that triggered my ex the most when we were still together was saying "don't treat me like your dad. " She never tried to even understand what I meant but would just got ballistic and storm off. I always felt that she and her mother would treat her dad like he was crazy or talk to him condescendingly or just quite curt and in an annoyed tone of voice. I did not want that. I do get sad at times seeing it's all gone but thank God I'm not treated like that

My barber told me this and it's quite common sense but I just didn't realize it: When a woman is in love with you or likes you, they can find a hundred reasons why you are great and downplay your flaws. When a woman is done with you and not in love, they can find a thousand reasons why you suck and fail as a husband/partner. Everything you do, good or bad is wrong. When my ex brought up a truckload of resentment ranging from as far back as 12 years ago and as trivial a thing as cable tv (I didn'…

Qutting social media is one the best things I did for myself. My ex never posts but just doom scrolled nonstop. I think we grew distant also due to the lack of common topics because I didn't doomscroll the same things. I doomscroll reddit. 😂

I'm in heaven. I have plenty of divorced female friends (platonic) that I got reconnected with and can talk when I'm bored. Feel free as F, my kids love the freedom too. They miss her at times but hey it's worth it

Think mine told her that I wanted a maid, not a wife. I... had hired her a maid who does all the housework. Speechless.
