The best way to start an actual relationship ship in my experience is to ask questions that let her respond and then validate her responses with your interest. Or you ask open ended questions that let her talk about herself and then ask leading follow up questions that show Interest and let her further express her opinions. It's all about being interested in her as a person, and validating her interests. You show that you are paying attention and genuinely care with follow up questions. Gently l…

It's not like the only people with girlfriends are those with power, money and fancy clothing. Don't be silly. None.of that is necessary, but with some women it will help for sure.

That sounds about right to me. I made some assumptions, but they seem to be wrong so my bad. I'm a bit older so maybe your questions about being easier in your 30s is true. All I can suggest is to try to be a bit flexible with what you're looking for in a woman. Sometimes you hit a great connection with someone who is attractive but maybe not your ideal. For me personally I pursue that sort of thing, and I've had some great times with women that I might not have considered ideally. I've even gon…

I think a good approach for guys like op would be to work on things you want to, and at the same time casually approach interesting seeming people. Being desperate is never a good look, and desperate energy is a real turn off. Taking ng it low key might help to remove the pressure and just make things more fun. That rubs off on the people you interact with and will make you generally more appealing. The way op says they studied game just sounds like they're going about it in this really weird wa…

Seriously this. It just isn't done today. You can be it and feel it but don't fucking say it. Love is a 6 months into fucking ans sleeping over thing these days. Even then. Don't put pussy on a pedestal. Saying you love someone without dating is batshit and will scare off any sane woman. Rightfully 5too Geez.

Don't use that person's random line. That's as bad as thinking negging works in 2022. Just talk to people naturally. Lines at the grocery store. In groups. Whatever. Be friendly, air a joke, steer the conversation towards them. If you can get someone talking about themself and be attentive you're usually alright. Ask questions that show you're paying attention. Be prepared to be blown off, but don't take it hard and just move on. If you're going to use some canned line make it so bad that she's c…

The thing about a new profile isn't actually a had suggestion. Unless you pay. The apps apparently give newbies some free p2w juice to get them hooked on the app and encourage spending. You also get back into the lists of people who might not have been interested before, but might be now with different pics or whatever. Can't hurt to try.

That's one of the big reasons why you shouldn't cruise people where you work. ASlso, that's not just her fault. That's also the fault of the guy asking in the first place and creating an awkward situation. Step back and think for a second: she felt safer ghosting you then turning you down. That suggests that something about what you did or how you did it was scary or intimidating to her. Why would you do that to someone where you work? Nah, compliment people on things they've done or have control over not things they intrinsically are. So instead of you're cute you could say I love how you did your nails or your fit is pure drip or whatever other thing. You just have to learn to not take it personally and move on. Sometimes people aren't interested and that doesn't mean there's something wrong with you. Everyone isn't going to find you attractive to them, and many people might have things in their life that stop them from getting involved with a new guy at that exact moment.

If someone is hooking up with you only once then they are more willing to lower their standards for whatever reason. Your friends were probably trying to set you up for relationships on the other hand. Just because a girl will sleep with you doesn't mean she will marry you or move in with you or for a lowest bar she won't introduce you to her friends. It used to get called a last call hookup.

I've told dates that I was a bit nervous because it was a first date. That I want it to go well, but sometimes I get stuck for what to say. She had been a bit withdrawn up until that point. When I said that she visibly relaxed a bit and we joked around about some awful first dates and horrible matches who are totally different in person. Ended up well short term and we had some fun for a month or so after that before mutually moving on.

I misread babies for children. Many women in their 30s have children. The difference between a newborn and a 10 year old is sort of academic from the perspective of dating. Even more specifically it was the claim that all 40+ women with kids are married that I think is wrong.

Women aren't some sort of homogenous population. Different women like different things. If you aren't focussed on money and the gym you can lead a happy and fulfilled life by finding a partner with similar goals. If you get rejected just find someone else who is interested.

Skimming the days news to have something 5o talk about is an easy way to do work and general life small talk. I'm amazed that people weren't taught this sort of thing by their parents. It's the basic basic for developing rapport and good interactions with friends and acquaintances. Then there's finding that little something of interest to someone that you want to pursue things with more. The principle applies to anything. Most people love to talk about themself. If you're attentive and engaged while they do it then it creates a rapport that makes it easier for people to open up with you. Always try to ask a clarification or further detail afterwards. After reading the rant I bet his personality sucks. Strikes me as a guy who would have a girl interested and flirting with him, but he would be there complaining to her about how hard life is for short guys and that nobody ever gives him a shot. Frame it super casual unless you're absolutely sure they'll say yes. Sure as in basically already dating. I totally get where you're coming from, but the unfortunate reality is that being out in the world means people will talk to you. Yeah, it ended up being a semi regular thing for a bit. I'd go over to hers and cook a meal for us. We'd eat and watch some netflix and then chill a bit. I didn't expect much at the start, but it ended up going much better than expected. She was busy doing her phd so I think I was her fun for a few months.

That's not true. Everyone uses groceries and you can check carts to get a very good idea of who the person is like. What they eat, what they prioritize, junk food or whole foods. I cook and eat well, and often women I chat up at the grocery store comment on that. I've had a woman even ask me if I want to do some cooking with her sometime. so pretty clearly asking me out. Felt pretty good.

If a girl sends you a sexy naked picture and you play it off like nothing happened then prepare to be ignored. If you act like a 10 year old seeing boobs for the first time then prepare to be ignored. It's not that complicated. Edit: imagine the places swapped. She asks, you send her a nice dick pic. She: 1. Ignores it entirely. 2. Asks if it's normal that it looks like that? 3. Teases playfully about how it looks nice and makes a joke about sports cars and finding a good garage to spend the win…

There's nothing stopping people from faking everything about their credentials. I'm pretty sure that lots of those videos feature paid actresses, just like prank videos and **gone sexual** videos on youtube did.

If you express interest in the other person and give them space to talk you can get pretty far. Responding to show you're listening and asking relevant questions to get the other person to talk more. Notallwomen and all, but lots of women enjoy talking to someone who actively listens once you get them started. You could try just talking to people more in day to day things, although covid makes it harder for sure. Grocery store lines are an example of a good place to try, but just remember not ev…

Just dont be too needy and see how it goes. Don't double text and be chill. Maybe she just isn't into texting. Maybe she really likes you and doesn't want to come across as needy. Maybe she's slow rolling you to use you for sex. It could be absolutely anything.

Some girls just do the online attention thing too. No matter what you do they'll never meet you for a date. Sometimes you just have to make your move or move on instead of lingering forever in dm.

I think that many people would do well to be just a little bit more flexible on looks. Both a little lower and a bit higher then they'd usually go for.

I wouldn't even bother deciding that you want to date someone long term until you're actually dating. If you're just doing friend stuff then maybe see if she even has an interest in a relationship to bring yourself some clarity about it.

This sub is probably not the place for any sort of serious discussion. It's just fun to watch the trainwreck of people watching staged youtube videos, giving all their money to con artists, and then thinking they've suddenly figured out dating. I think the actual answer is that saying they want to be treated like normal is disingenuous. It's a way of saying treat me super special without seeming conceited and actually asking for it. There's a few big ones like this where people say something and…

Yeah, just go out and put yourself out there. Take a risk and try not to dwell on or analyze it too much. Push your standards a bit. Any girl that talks to you is more experience then none at all. Get outside your comfort zone a bit, and push yourself to grow through doing that.

I think that everyone should be extremely sceptical of this sort of thing. The chances that they hire a girl for them to pick up are pretty high. That does have value to show how you could go about doing pickups, but you have to keep in mind that the same sorts of thing that work on a girl paid to respond might not work on a random girl. You have to think that with all the pick up videos out there, and being sold, that at some point there must have been a girl who objected and found out about it…

You see the opposite of that too sometimes. Some people seem to think that they have to reach some mystical/magical point where they'll be able to get a girlfriend. They spend all their time working towards getting to the point where they'll be happy instead of realising that they could be meeting and talking to women right now. If they adjust their standards and put themselves out there then they are bound to have some successes just through sheer numbers if nothing else.

Plan something really easy and lowkey. 30 minutes is my max for first dates off the internet. Coffee or a drink works great. Lots of people stand up or ditch these. You shouldn't feel bad at all. Its most likely not about you. The whole point is to see they are real before you invest time and money, to make sure that they aren't a psycho, and to get a first impression of physical attraction to decide if you want to keep going or not. Just keep things low key and be interesting.

That's what you're pretty means. The universe would blah blah? That's so forgettable. Unless you're saying it ironically for a laugh I guess.

Attractive women have a steady stream of guys coming up to them and saying "you're so pretty." That's a horrible way to stand out and show your value in a short time. Its like saying "I'm like all those other forgettable people." There's subtext about appreciating her style, being able to function socially, having friends who she could relate to, and that you likely aren't a psycho. If you find success with you're so pretty then do that.

I know some girls who would melt on the spot if you complement them on their eyebrows. This kind of thing just doesn't make a good opener. I couldn't imagine walking up to someone and being all "nice eyebrows.". You jut have to work it into the conversation.

I'll give an example. It's great to have girls who are friends and its a huge plus with most women because it shows you are well adjusted and are not a psycho. Sounds like a joke, but a lot of guys fail this basic check according to my female friends. :Those are great shoes. :Thanks, I really like them. :Where did you get them? My friend (Female friend) would love those :I got them at xxxyyyy I think :Oh yeah? That's a cool store. I'll Check it out thanks. They'd suit her, but she definitely won…

Yeah, that type of thing. I love your hair. The cut really suits you and looks so pretty. Something that complements her taste, and incidentally says you find her attractive. Except it's done without explicitly making it the subject. That's an awkward example though.

Many women like to be complemented for things they've done and have control over as opposed to something they are like saying you're so pretty. Tell people that you like something specific they've done or wear if you really want to focus on looks. Lots of women just blow off guys who talk about that sort of thing entirely. It's not like there is a single thing that will get people interested in you. It's just about finding people who have an interest in you and that are receptive to what you put…

Many of the 'gurus' people in this sub link to and talk about are just making money. There's no actual life score with women other people can see, so they hire some actresses and fake some YouTube pickups. Write a book and make some money. There are other ways to meet women and be successful in life, and there's nothing wrong with trying to show people that. Its the same reason that time spent in a sub exclusively doesn't equal success. If you are so successful why would you spend years of your …

Employees are paid to be polite to you. Their job depends on it often. In your hypothetical I guess you could ask without asking and gauge the answer to decide. The sweaty nerd thing was a bit of a joke about comic shops. In general I think people should avoid it. There are lots of other people to hit on. Most women I know who work public facing jobs laugh at the guys who ask them out and are visibly uncomfortable when I've witnessed it. The worst was working at a sports bar and seeing guys who …

Fair enough. I was exaggerating a little for effect. I'm glad you overcame some shyness and took a chance. Personally I like to try to think of it from the girls perspective if I can too. Sometimes as men we don't understand the way things feel for women. Am I coming on too strong? Is there an easy way for her to get away and feel safe? Even just being aware of not physically cornering someone while you try to get a bit closer Innocently. If you have some female friends or sisters ask them about…

The poor comic shop girl. The target of so much thirst from so many smelly men exiting the dungeon of their moms basement for the weekly trip to get their orders. Don't hit on girls at work like that. They are paid to be nice to you, and it's kind of creepy. It puts her in a weird position. Let the woman earn her paycheque in peace.

Not necessarily, but saying, "You're so beautiful. We should hang out and have fun together." is definitely weird and creepy. You can argue it isn't all you want, but it won't change how people react to it. You do you though.

By the same token a man shouldn't be laying hands on every woman around him. A woman shouldn't have to say don't grab me. It's implied in normal human behaviour. If the only way you can touch a girl is forcing yourself on her, then you have some serious issues. Touching is great, but there are signs that you should learn how to read saying someone wants to be touched. I've seen guys explode for the smallest things. Lack of disinterest isn't permission to touch someone more. It's more then likely you're scaring them and they are afraid to confront a man coming out of nowhere touching them. It's one thing to have a conversation or dance with someone, and in the process touch them in some innocuous way to gauge interest. It's another entirely to touch every woman dancing nearby and then if they don't actively discourage you take it as a green light to keep touching them. What if the woman went there to danc…
