This seems like a healthy world view informed by experiencing many positive relationships.

Definitely. It's not like all parents are universally great people. I have witnessed first hand how other people's parents can be manipulative and horrible.

Telling him to move on is not just because of ethics though. It's still advice based on what will get the best results because the time is better invested elsewhere.

He asked for the best response, saying "don't fucking do it" implies that the best response is to just move on.

So if you see someone at work or in class and they mention that they have a boyfriend, how can you play that off instead of going "oh, okay sorry to bother you then" Uh, why not just say that? Sounds like something a normal human being would say.

The best way to prove this is to try and remember some time when a person put you on a pedestal and think about how you felt about them. It's happened to everybody I imagine. It's awkward because no one wants to be treated like that. I would rather someone made fun of me and called me out when I do stupid things than to try and ignore them and placate me.

No, you can't quote me like that without the end of the sentence because you totally change what I'm saying. I didn't say screening girls was a waste of time, I said screening girls who wont match you anyway was a waste of time. The purpose for the app in my view is to meet girls I would be interested in, this is the quickest and most efficient way to do it. I accept that it may be a 'shitty attitude' because it gives ugly girls the idea that I'm interested in them very briefly, but that's the o…

Ugh, are you even trying to understand? Swipe everyone right because it's quicker, that's why. I am not saying "have no standards, you have to fuck ugly girls" I am saying you're wasting your time by filtering out beforehand rather than after. And it's hardly pathetic, it's just logical to filter this way. Your way of filtering means you waste time looking at profiles that will never match you back anyway. I just do what you do, but only with profiles I know are 100% a match already.
/r/seduction09/09/14 04:01 PM
1

You don't have to talk to the ugly matches, just either ignore them or unmatch them. You can do the exact same thing you do now just afterwards so you're not wasting time screening girls who wont match you anyway.
/r/seduction09/09/14 03:28 PM

Think of it like this, it's less likely that a girl will swipe right than a guy, why spend your time carefully viewing every profile if there is a strong chance the girl you like will just swipe you left anyway? It's easier to swipe everyone right and then screen them afterwards, that way you know for sure you're not wasting your time on someone who is gonna swipe you left.

If a guy dresses well and has a good body then he has his shit together and that's someone girls want to be around. It's a status thing I reckon. I kinda feel it's a little different to the shallowness guys have.

1 2 3 4 5 6 Few things: -I wouldn't say I do particularly well. I have quite a lot of matches and generally get around 20 likes on my moments, but I've not actually tried to get laid using this thing yet. Trying to move out of my parents house and get a car before I try pulling people who don't live right near me. -I'm not proud of the first picture being a selfie, I just got really sick of the first one I used to have and no one was taking good photos of me alone IRL. :(

That's actually pretty interesting. You can kinda apply that logic to the life in general, stop fretting so much over choices and take action.

The idea of rejection is usually 10x worse than the rejection anyway. It's rare that you ever get a really bad one and even then it just feels kinda funny to me. Just walk backwards away and do the 'call me' gesture for maximum lols.

Am I the only one cringing here? This really sounds more like a teenager bragging than a FR. It really feels like you're emphasizing the fact that you had enough sex to get an STD test + emphasizing that you hit on a medicine student not just a regular girl. I'm not trying to put you down bud, that's just how this story made me feel.

You don't have to go that extreme. I personally feel it's most beneficial to just focus on one concept at a time and try to improve that every time you go out. When you're comfortable with that concept and you don't need to think about it any more, move on to the next. For example, I recently decided to work on my speaking voice/talking louder. Now that's become second nature, I'm working on getting better at physically escalating. Just take on little pieces of information and fine tune them unt…

I don't really agree with your opinion here. My view is that even if you yourself believe it 100%, it still goes against social norms and will make you look kind of socially oblivious/inept if approached wrong. It's all well and good believing your own stuff, but we do live in a world with structures and if you break them you usually need a reas If you acknowledge that it is unusual you could probably prevent that, but for me this is a situation where an innocuous lie is probably best. It sounds like she was probably being honest, in which case she was probably going to meet up with you anyway. You did the right thing by making other plans so you're not hanging around dependent on her, but intentionally ignoring her may have been superfluous. Nice job anyway, sounds like you have a good instinct for this stuff.

"Shit tests" and "plowing" is still big in the community for some reason but through my experiences, if a girl is not receptive to you from the get go, she's not interested and if she gives you her number, she'll probably flake. I think that's true. I feel like dating advice should talk more about when to just cut your losses and leave. If the girl is acting really cold to you and you just always try to push through that seems pretty desperate to me. If it's not enjoyable spending time with her …

When I'm one on one with someone I never really seem to have trouble finding things to say and that hasn't always been natural for me. I can speculate why that is and share with you why if you like. I personally think when people run out of things to talk about it's a problem with security. When you're with your friends conversation is never hard to come by, of course that is in part because you share interests, but it's mostly because you feel comfortable and safe with them. You could meet some…

I think you've got some good information here. Not sure if this necessarily goes against what you're saying here or not, but I think people get too hung up on the meaning of what they're saying. My opinion is that tone is the most important. Being smart in what your saying doesn't usually get you anywhere because seduction is not a logical process.

The whole coaching element of the PU industry is starting to seem weird to me. It seems like there's just more and more coaches popping up now. Okay the bootcamps seemed like decent ideas when they were organized companies with guys who'd practiced a lot giving out new ideas, but now it just seems like the ideas are already all out there on the net. I would be surprised if people don't already know a lot of this stuff if they're willing to pay for coaching, are they just paying for the extra pus…

You're very right. I'm guilty of doing this myself. I have more theory in me than I know what to do with. I think I kind of realized that because I stopped reading theory, but still didn't take any action. Halfway there, need to start doing the main part more. A quote that relates that I have written down somewhere is "don't wait to do something until you feel like it, do it first and then you'll feel like it after." Motivation often comes after action instead of before.

I've drifted away from learning about 'game' recently and I'm starting to think it isn't entirely worth actively reading concepts. There's a lot of confusing and contradictory advice, sometimes when I have a session learning a lot of theory I do worse. You have to just go out and practice. You only have so much free time and I truly believe you can only specialize in a few things. Why not make game simple and focus on the rest of your life? Not saying other ways are wrong, just sharing my curren…

I lay awake last night thinking something similar to this. Humans are incomplete beings. This incompleteness is intentional and it's there to makke us strive for a better life. One thing we look to make us complete is a relationship, but in reality nothing can make you complete. In fact the only way you can complete yourself is to realize that you will never be complete and just live right in the exact moment you're in. Sorry if that sounds pretentious/lame.

Yes, yes, yes. I've gone to the gym for over 2 years now, 3 times a week with only ever planned breaks and this is how. Watching shit like Rocky is great, but it needs to come from a different place.

This. Or just tell her to hit you up when she comes back and move on. If she does then great, if not then oh well there's other women out there. The absolute worst thing to do is to try and converse regularly through facebook.

"I went to ground zero. All the way to the bottom. I threw away all of the shit I had studied & worked for all my life, to start from ground zero & aim for the top." Dude if 93 is your birth year then you're 20. No offense but 'starting over' at 20 sounds a lot like 'starting in the first place' to me.

I think looks are so negligible in game. Sure you'll get the occasional gimmie, but girls you would actually want don't usually respond to that. Just look good for who you are, but don't get too hung up on it. I learnt this lesson in high school the hard way when I had really bad oneitis for a pretty hot girl and she was taken by this chubby weird looking guy who was confident and sexual as fuck.

Great message. I just wrote on a sticky note "could you do this at 80?" I waste an inordinate amount of time brainlessly refreshing the internet. I really need to taper it off, no cold turkey just gradually less every day. The messed up thing is I'm too lazy to text girls back but I'm happy to sit here like a douche replying to strangers and generally doing nothing. You summed up succinctly something I've been thinking about for a few weeks now. I'm 21 for another 182 days, lets make the most of…

Exactly. The seduction community isn't made up of misogynist monsters who only want to drop a load in an attractive hole. Most people started this stuff just because they wanted a girlfriend. When they achieve abundance in women then you can decide whether you want to settle down or keep meeting new people. Not to mention that it's a ridiculous generalization to say things like "all girls in clubs are sluts not worthy of my time." They're just people. All are different.

I felt like puzzles was an innuendo for a long time there hah. I don't think you've got big problems. To me the hardest part of the battle is approaching in the first place. You had the balls to go out and do that alone, that's awesome. Keep doing that and the results will follow. Now in terms of game, coldness is THE worst response you can get in my opinion. Getting told to fuck off would even be better because at least they're not just brushing you off. Be decisive in this. You're not here to …

Think I stole this for Tyler Durden but say "I'll buy you a drink, but only if you do a really sick impression of a cow" or something like that. Basically just make it a situation where you each get something. Keeps it flirtier than just saying "no." Altough I wouldn't do that if she's only after the drink, she can get fucked then.

If you've done everything else right just give her a way to come back to your house that she can comfortably take without being made to feel like a slut. I just say "come to an afterparty/for drinks at my house." She knows what's really up, it's just an easier way for her to say yes.

Stop seeking approval when you speak is the biggest lifechanger for me. When you learn to stop caring about what you say I think you have more to say and become more interesting too. People want to see you be yourself so by proxy they also get permission to cut loose.

The best way to not be in the friend zone is to never get there in the first place. Your break away from her allowed you to stop being friends and establish a new relationship. Basically you set a frame where you are man and woman or just drop it. Either she realizes she was just playing games by not being interested, or she really isn't and you'd have been wasting your time anyway.

Bit of advice, you have to learn to love yourself. To me that's the discipline bit of this post. Work out consistently (just do 3 days a week for an hour, it's really not that hard), learn consistently and deliberately and you start to appreciate yourself better. If you can take pride in your appearance and productivity it helps change your social life. Frankly if anything I've become a bit of a narcissist. I can fully vouch for that. Went to Thailand for 6 weeks and felt totally different when I got back. It wears off a little bit, but there are some things that have and probably always will stick. Had 5 girls over there too, which isn't bad going cause I was too ill for one week and another was spent in a very rural place with no clubs.

I love getting the bus. It's my own personal half hour to empty my head, listen to some music and look at the window. It's very therapeutic. That said I get a morning bus with mostly students. Might be a different experience for you if there's a crazy hobo whacking off nearby.

Eye movement has links to your thinking. For example when trying to remember something people tend to look down and to the left. Try and stare straight ahead and remember something easy, like what did you have for lunch yesterday? It makes it much more difficult. That's mostly just me dropping a fact that I find interesting though. Eye contact is important, but try not to get too hung up on it or you might bug out and look unnatural and weird. I would say that's more of a problem than 'too much'…

I used to be the same. In fact the embarrassment from having very little actually spurred me on once. Someone said "done a 69" and I was the only one there who hadn't. The people I were with were too nice to make a big deal of it, but I was embarassed. One night later, I performed my first 69, so this story has a happy ending (giggidy).
