Nah, I know plenty of men who turn down sex from women for one reason or another. I know that's a difficult concept to grasp for the average Redditor, but it does actually happen.

You can acknowledge someone is attractive without being sexually attracted to them. There are lots of people who only want to be intimate with people once they are in relationships, for example.

You can have platonic close friends of the opposite sex as long as the female is ugly. That's absolutely not true. There's plenty of reasons why you can be friends with an attractive woman and not want to be in a relationship with her.

Women behave almost identically with their male friends who are least semi-attractive. This fact always gets ignored and it bothers me. I'm not saying I'm super hot or anything but like maybe 90% (not an exaggeration) of my platonic girl friends have either had feelings for me or flat out came onto me, at least from since I turned 18 and started caring about my appearance a bit more.

What about guys who don't want to add to her (or their own) N count unless they're in a relationship? Not everyone is a blatant hypocrite. I would rate my sex drive as being somewhere within the moderate to high range, and yet I went through three years of university with plenty of crazy drunken nights and met plenty of willing women yet I didn't end up sleeping with a single one because it simply wasn't something I wanted to do - this includes times where I was being hit on by hot women at my o…

Alright, well I just wanna say that your opinion is pretty insane. I know loads of attractive men and women who are very nice people. And conversely, I happen to know plenty of unattractive people who are awful. My point is that generalising things like this is idiotic, and makes you sound very insecure.

The women that appreciate the those men certainly exist but they are few and far between, and as I said, it appears as though their numbers begin to diminish rapidly post-high school. I am 6 foot 2 and I can tell you that being tall didn’t really seem to do me much favours in terms of attracting girls when I was in high school; hell, I would say it probably worked against me. But it was a completely different story when I moved to university. Saying that though, the obsession with height in dati…

But then an obese man/woman should have some perspective and accept that it would be unlikely that someone of the opposite gender would find them sexually appealing (unless perhaps they were fairly equal in size), because being severely overweight is almost universally going to be seen as unattractive. It's not even just about looks, it tells you about what they are as a person, too (excluding people who become fat due to medical issues, ofc). If someone is outrageously overweight, then it sugge…

Sorry, I don't think I expressed my thoughts on this correctly. My assumption would be that an obese person who lost weight and became super hot probably wouldn't outright reject someone who wasn't previously interested, would they? I mean as long as the person who rejected them was not mean or nasty about it.

I knew a boy in HS that was the type I think of - physically small, very shy, very soft in nature, and he actually did like sewing and knitting and stuff. Still ended up heterosexual. The thing is the girls never made fun of him, he preferred to be around girls and became close to most of the girls, but it was the other boys that were mean to him. Dating in high school is a completely different beast to dating in college and beyond. High school girls might have liked him, but he would probably g…

I think rejecting someone for their weight is not comparable to rejecting someone for their money/status. So only gaining attraction for someone after they have lost a ton of weight does not seem to be so bad, in my opinion.

But even though all men are polygamous. That's very presumptuous of you and not at all true.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
