It's hard to explain but it's easy to reveal a part of yourself whilst being strong and stoic at the same time. And it is important that you are also able to move on in the sense that you don't keep bringing it up and just keep living. On the other side of the platform, you can be a constant whinger and seek your partners validation at all time. Your partner is not your mother.

I think the notion of "Alpha" and "Beta" is absurd. There is no single formulaic way to live a sustainable and happy life. The ones that don't give a shit about who's beta or who's alpha, are probably the happiest and they don't seek validation from their peers and feel the insecurity to put others down. They are just being them. And you probably won't find them on these subs, because they are busy fulfilling their passions in life.

I've always interpreted frame as emotional willpower. You are able to hold your shit together or maintain your calmness when someone else is emotionally charged at you. Essentially, the ability to just stand back and assess what is actually going on, rather than having an emotional driven perspective. E.g. If your SO is getting mad at you, do you have the emotional willpower just to stand back and see if it's rational, why she getting mad or is it a phase? Or will you get mad as well or angry?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
