Yeah, sure, if you are some kind of hero you're gonna be more attractive than if you weren't.

Just save a child's life in front of her bro.

I do have to admit tho, if this study is accurate it's actually big. The fact that women make up their mind whether you're attractive within the first few seconds of meeting you is a huge tenet in TRP and by extension in the black pill. At first glance this study does say the opposite - The test subjects recieved the images of the people, had a chance to make up their mind and only AFTER waiting. Gonna have to take a closer look tho when I have more time.

Does seem like the kind of experiment that's receptive to virtue signalling though. Participants are asked "is that person sexually attractive?" and then told that he/she is a good/bad person.

Not a fan of trait description studies, however. They have no ecological validity.

My further comments below (context: private message exchange after someone reposted the Fugère study):

The Fugère article is a favorite among blackpilled communities but it's low hanging fruit tbh. ITears/bluepill folks like Tim Squirrel are quick to point out the limitations. Personality trait description studies also open the door for the bluepilled to raise studies like https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1475-6811.2007.00172.x (Lewandowski, Aron & Gee, 2007) -- which used more dramatic trait descriptions to elicit 0.5-1 pt changes in physical attractiveness ratings on a 10 pt likert scale (tiny and hardly impressive but IT users occasionally champion it like a refutation)
