Similar to my other post. But a little different.

I am not against women that want to stay home. That's not my ideal, but I can see how it could work.

However, I'm not against being in a supportive role in a relationship. I won't be in a subservient role though. However, I think both should support the other.

I do believe (in general) that women tend to be more nurturing and men tend to be more protective. Of course, there is a spectrum and nuance.

What I'd like to see is... more genuine appreciation for being a nurturing person.

There's great public appreciation for doing protective things... the bigger, the better. However, nurturing is undervalued. While without nurturing...people suffer. Humans need love and affection and physical touch. You could even argue that nurturing is a way to protect.

I show men that I care for them primarily through touch and words. I enjoy helping someone feel better physically and mentally.
