After getting over a breakup that was really messy and I was sort of already ex-redpilled/whitepilled when it started, while my ex was in the middle of FDS mentality - I started reading the subreddits, this summer.

After deciding to focus on commitment to long term things both in relationships and in life, for about a year, despite being homeless and jobless and carless with no license and just most of a associates degree finished - I still fit both with the essence of what was described as “HVM behavior” and my experiences align with what a lot of people in TRP type communities call “the top 10% or 1% of men”. But at 15, 7 years earlier, I had still felt/been ugly enough and had poor enough social skills to be severely redpilled/blackpilled, to the point of trying to kill myself three times and going to a mental health hospital for inpatient treatment twice.

So while I know this can’t help everyone as much as it did me, I just want to hopefully persuade some people, especially the young men going through middle and high school right now, that genetics is not the determining factor for the vast majority of people. Other factors can and do completely change your experience with dating, and with life. So if you’re going through hell right now, keep going. There may ultimately be some different outcomes we are all destined for, but the one thing that doesn’t help is trying to limit yourself in your mind as to the kind of change you can achieve.
