Doesn't it strike you as funny that a generality about men is okay to make but god forbid that men make one about women?? don't you think that stating that for all men and presuming what one may really think when a person say something, is actual prejudice? And what should I tihnk then when a woman tells me: "you are so different than the other men I have known; you make me feel so special"??? should I run too? Before making generalities and being prejudiced against a gender/race/religion, wouldn't it be better to actually try to understand the individual in front of you before dismissing them out of hand, based on a single sentence and basically what is your own prejudice against a whole gender? Feminism is also about fighting against preconceived ideas on genders...ALL genders!
