All this guy did was defend his property. He had an angry mob trespassing on his property, and he walked outside with his rifle. He didn't even point it at them, he was just showing that he could defend himself because he was worried they'd burn his fucking house down or destroy his property. It was a valid concern, considering how much private property these assholes have already destroyed.

They were on his private property and he did nothing wrong or illegal.

TBH, that woman should have her handgun removed until she goes through some gun safety course. You don't want woman with crazy in her eyes wave a gun against crowd, especially with a finger on the trigger. Chances of accidental discharge are quite high in that situation.

Then it was tactically fucked up - if there was an accidental discharge (or the crowd decided to rush the guys with guns for some other reason), they would get overrun in no time and probably end up badly. That's not how you defend yourselves against mob.

But then, if this is legal and normal in the US, walking in front of your property with a gun should be okay as well.

This is why you own multiple firearms and keep them in multiple locations. Never rely on only one or two guns, and never keep your entire arsenal in only one location (especially not your house/home).

Gentlemen, what's really bothering me about this is that the police confiscated his firearm...yet they have not been charged with anything. Can anyone explain to me how this is legal? I thought that law enforcement couldn't execute a warrant unless they had reasonable cause to suspect wrongdoing. If there have been no charges filed against the couple, how can the police legally confiscate their property?

Even here they're biased. Of course they're not going to show armed to the teeth rooftop Koreans, sidewalk Sikhs, or behind the car Cubans because it validates the #alllivesmatter tag and because only white people are bigoted. This coming from a Mexican who would definitely ask Smith and Wesson to help defend my hypothetical taco stand from thugs. At least I could shoot blacks in self defense and no one would call me racist.

Edit: before anyone tries to get me flagged for "racism and inciting hatred" for that last line, bear in mind I'm making a comparison of what happens if a Mexican shoots a black man or vice versa versus what happens if a white man shoots a black man. And trust me, there's a reason ethnic groups end up forming gangs.
