The majority of guys restrain themselves because even when they are being violently attacked by women, they first take the punches, hoping the women will stop, but they don't.. so they slap/punch her a little to show them they aren't taking it anymore, but that's the woman's trap.

Society knows men are stronger and you can't prove restraint, but you CAN see the woman's (fake) reaction, throwing herself onto the ground and crying... that was her goal, to provoke the dude into hitting her once so she can use that against him.
