Soon sheβll murder her daughter to go out partying. And the jury will say not guilty because of the pussy pass

I smell double standards and virtue signaling in this post and comments there.
It's OK to let the baby cry it out if he/she is having troubles with developing normal sleep schedule and perhaps is overstimulated. Anyway, survival and adequate well-being of the parents comes first, just like with the oxygen masks on the plane.
Whether the author is fishing for support or is genuinely upset because she's been programmed otherwise, but in my opinion the only wrong thing she did is allowing this screaming dynamics to continue for too long.

I agree - from a SCIENTIFIC / moral standpoint there was nothing wrong with what she did because it solved the problem and it hurt no one.
What she should have realized is that the kid is extremely sensitive to stimuli because when she opened the door the kid was fine and when she exposed it to stimuli again the screaming restarted.
The closet trick worked - her only mistake was spreading it all over social media to get validation from others.

I'm a single father. From the time he was born, he would just scream constantly. He would scream until he was tired and would take a brief nap. He was fed, dry diaper, warm, not hot or cold. It didn't matter how I held him. Sometimes the swings with music and lights would help briefly. If he did fall asleep, I couldn't even get off the couch. Something as simple as a the floor creaking or squeaking would wake him. I mean the most gentle squeak in the floor and it was instant screaming. This went on until he was able to move on his own. As soon as he started crawling, it was over.
I never contemplated locking him up somewhere. That never crossed my mind. It was nerve racking and stressful, for sure. I couldn't imagine doing that.

The "Cry it out method" as it's called is something of a modern invention. Most if not all societies understood that's just what babies do. With neuroscience, we can confirm what our ancestors took for granted. Letting babies get distressed is a practice that can damage children and their relational capacities in many ways for the long term. We know now that leaving babies to cry is a good way to make a less intelligent, less healthy but more anxious, uncooperative and alienated persons who can pass the same or worse traits on to the next generation.

for reals. theyβre just better at leveraging technology i suppose. itβs that inherent quality that women were gifted to make something from nothing (an orifice).

Holy crap. She needs someone to watch that kid while she gets a break from it. Isn't there a grandparent or a friend who could help?
[β]MortalJohn0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This was literally the first weekend she had alone with the baby if we are to trust her statement, which for the record I don't.
[β]roxon892 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
How many of you guys have kids?
[β]AeternusDoleo3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
How does this kid differ from the adult version? ;)
[β]ThrowawayGhostGuy12 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Iβm going to cut her some slack, knowing full well a father wouldnβt get the same courtesy from society.
[β]jacketguy2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
i dont have kids but imo ur whole problem is centering ur life around ur child.. ur child screams because u give in every time
screaming is a button ur child presses for instant attention or food or entertainment
put ur child on a schedule regardless of the screaming

I was going to quote some of this but read it yourself if your honestly intrested.

Babies and Children are obviously different here though so maybe that's where your getting confused.

Anything that even remotely reminds me of Caylee/Casey Anthony sends me into a rage and to me I imagine this is a space her mind started to descend to before she murdered her own child.
Fuck Casey Anthony , Fuck OP, and Fuck "Mothers" who brought kids into the world they damned well didn't have the emotional or psychological means to handle.
I know raising a child is no walk in the park I helped raise one of my nieces 2 months after she was born but there is no reason mentally unfit women should have children in 2019 ESPECIALLY .

There's no way I'm having children. Fuck that shit.
I'd do it if I was wealthy. Like who doesn't want a little mini me to be their best friend and explore the world together with?
[β]OlHaggard0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Why the fuck would someone post this? I just want to let everyone know how terrible I am.
[β]LiveTheTruth3210 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Maybe she was hungry, diaper change, etc.
[β]LogicBeforeEmotions0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Why even have a kid then? This is so stupid.
[β]issizz0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sometimes you just have to let the child cry

This sub is pathetic but holy shit that bitch needs mental help if she just shut her infant into a closet
She should put the baby up for adoption if she can't handle it omfg

You're not bad, it's just your clearly here posting for attention. Classic move, just useless
[β]Skye-DragonGirl-1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I don't want these people's attention wtf
I sometimes like giving my opinion and being honest even when nobody asks me to, it's just how I roll
[β]Mrsherby 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Fair enough, but remember posting here isn't like posting elsewhere. Most of your attempts at expressing yourself will be seen as generally negative as you have no reason to even make an attempt, and are in an environment that doesn't want anything to do with you or your opinion.
