A lot of women I've heard say they're scared to death of pregnancy got pregnant anyway.
They wanted to abort the kid, they were beating themselves up for not using protection, they begged the guy to not dump them and help them out.
...All of them ended up having the kid, and most of them put the guy through child support just because they didn't like the guy's whiny attitude, regardless of the guy's motivation to do his best.
