Looks to me like men 'want' women, but do just fine without them as they do not 'need' them. Women on the other hand, pretty much 'need' men (for so very much of the comforts and safety they experience), but do not particularly 'want' them.

Should the MGTOW balance scale move past a tipping point and men in general cease to want women (for all the risk and misery that comes with that pursuit), we men will be doing just fine without them. The women on the other hand, faced with actual equality for the first time, will find their lives not only inconvenient but also quite expensive on their own.

Consider that 50 to 75 years from now (per-region economics permitting) sexbots and artificial wombs may seal the deal on the long heralded age of equality (the actual kind) for women. She can still have children by shopping at sperm-mart and would be free to purchase her own sexbot (though not as much of a market for that as women need men primarily as a drainable resource - and a sexbot will not go to work each day and bring home a paycheck for her to spend).
