I used bumble and coffee meets bagel, two relationship (as opposed to hook up, like tinder) based dating apps. When I wrote a good job title on my profile I got hot girls swiping with me. When I changed it to an average/decent job, it dropped to 0 on both apps, excluding the occasional fugly girl/landwhale. I am an above average looking but non chad guy.
On tinder, without writing a job I got matched with decent looking and some hot girls (this was before tinder became pay to play, no way am I paying those swindlers to use their garbage app) although their response rate was like 1%.
Do you see the very real and clear alpha fucks beta bucks divide? It is such a neat divide. It even made me surpass my initial level of belief in alpha fucks beta bucks theory.
0 girls matching with me now when I have an average job. Not even the uglier ones! It is not even a bad job. It is an average white collar job with decent salary. Yet on tinder they matched even when I wrote no job. This proves that when they want long term they don't give a DAMN about looks: they ONLY look at money. And when they want a hook up, they ONLY care about looks. It is ALL or nothing. ONE or the other. NOTHING in between.
